- Pretty much what the title says. Finally got the silencer. It made a big differance in performace in combination with the pipe. Sounds a lot better too. I hated the stock silencer. Looks, sounds and performs much much better. I LOVE THIS TRIKE!!!!!!
@joethekid03 although tempting, i will have to decline that offer. I absolutely love this bike!!! I almost made a drastic mistake and was about to sell it for $800 bucks. I dont think im ever going to get rid of this bike. This is the bike that started the world of high performance atv's and im proud and honored to own one of the first generation ATC 250R's. Long live the legend of the ATC 250R!!!
i went back an checked out ur old vid and it sounds way better , u can now here the metalic ping from ur pipe , sounds sweet man!!

@joethekid03 sure man but out of all my toys this one would go last. I hope to do alot more riding this coming season and hopfully take some video. I primarily take this out to more sandy areas such as rasor rd here in california. I would really love to take this thing out to glamis, or dumont dunes. Its cool on the trails but like with anything more than two wheels,whoops suck lol. I'd rather ride my rm250 or yz125 for trails.

@courtdar Is it a fox like i said in my other vid?? I just heard from someone else that to some people the shock is worth more than what i paid for the whole bike which was $500 bucks. Is it really that rare??? I love my fooler. And NO you cant have it hahah

@vwmetal66 lol yea if i was you i would never get rid of this.i love trikes.i have a 1983 250r, and a 1986 ytm 225dr,and a 1986 honda 200x.this thing is mint and beautiful.if you ever wanna sell this let me know lol im willing to go over 3000 for this

chris curnutt where can I get a set for my 82
those paddles look like the old dick cepek paddles from the 80s/90s. i like the large amount of paddles, cool design. and those are old, so by putting a tube in the tire should solve the leak problem. tubes are normally 10-15 bucks

Its time to start looking elsewhere and road trip man. If you're willing to dump $1,600 in a ok shape first gen, you should look farther out and maybe make a road trip. See some place new, and get a better deal. sure you'll spend some money on gas but i doubt the whole trip including the cost of the trike would cost $1,600

@@vwmetal66 yo thanks for answerin so fast your bike sounds dope af. I jus bought a 81 250r atc and it needs sum tlc. But most importantly it runs like a beast. cant find that dg silencer anywhere and the only thing on ebay is for an 85
@@sleezzzyp well I actually bought mine off of the DG website. I'm not sure if they still sell it though this was a long time ago. But if you do buy the full system make sure to reject your carburetor. Even if you just buy the silencer and have your stock pipe still. I made the mistake of not rejetting it and blew out my top end right away.
@@sleezzzyp so I just checked the DG website and it looks like they don't have it on there. If you just want a better sound and just a silencer FMF makes a turbine core 2 universal spark arrestor silencer. That could actually probably work on yours if you're handy with tools and shit
