Thanks GT Man....we're going to head west and visit with some friends while we try our our solar and new rig. Then we've got to be in Idaho this June for the West Coast truck rally, so we'll start moving north from Arizona to Idaho.
My hope is that you are driving change (we could all use positive changes). Thank for the update, safe travels and God Bless.
This question is probably to early, but the new trailer looks nose low on the truck. Does it fifth wheel need adjustment? Personal preference, my wife would love the new stove you folks just removed.
LOL....yes Gary. The hitch pin needs to be adjusted for our truck. We ran a survey when we first ordered the rig regarding the residential oven and it was pretty evenly split. It's just that we've never used an oven more than a few times in the 30+ years we've been RVing. God made us all different and it makes for a wonderful life! Have a great week.
I was not insinuating that you should have kept the stove, I just meant my wife would love a new stove, ours is 14 years old. Have fun with build. Looking forward to see the finish.😀
The modifications would be warranted from the dealer and everything else through the factory. The dealer has a 16 page Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) list that they go through before the customer takes possession. It's pretty involved and takes them 4 or 5 days to complete.
In 3 years provided all are still offered, we’d like to full time with the likes of a LX455 hoping that we can remove the big long couch from the slide out and replace with a love seat and a counter (so one can sit with a meal or a laptop and look out the window). We use the convection oven that's built into the microwave. We don't do a lot of baking, so it really isn't an issue for us. We'd rather have the storage space.
We don't have a w/d for a couple of reasons Larry. Weight and space is the first issue. We use the w/d area for extra storage and we don't want the added weight. Also, we boondock quite a bit and the washer would produce quite a bit of gray water. We use laundromats every few weeks and we can use 3 or 4 machines to get everything done in an hour or so and back on the road.
LOL....we're happy for you guys. No, we haven't really advertised our current coach yet. We've been a little afraid to....not sure when we'll be able to move into our new rig!

A couple of things, slightly tongue in cheek. 1. Your gonna have to re-paint your truck to match the DRV. 2. More of a question, why does the rig look nose heavy?
It probably looks "nose heavy" because we haven't adjusted the pin box on the 5th wheel for our hitch. As far as new paint....I think we've spent enough on the 5th wheel!
