My wish is for Singapore government and charitable organisations to offer assistance of any form to Taiwan in this natural tragedy. Taiwanese people are kind. They deserve all the help.

Maybe the couple never turned in their Singapore passports after getting Australian passports. I know a few people who have China-US dual citizenship even though it’s technically not allowed by China-they obtained a U.S. passport but never turned in their Chinese passport, and they use the Chinese passport to enter China instead of the U.S. passport, so the Chinese government doesn’t know they have a second passport. Apparently the U.S. doesn’t care about dual citizenship but China does, so some people take advantage of the system and never actually give up their Chinese passport. It’s technically illegal under Chinese law for people to do this, but many people break the law and don’t get caught.

All travelers must know how to face emergency situations and how to get help before you start your journey in foreign countries.
For example in Taiwan, normally you contact emergency services dialing 119 and 110 for police . But in the mountain area there is no mobile phone signal you have to dial 112 connecting to satellite system. So if these 2 tourists are still alive and they know dailing 112,they can be positioned immediately. But I think most tourists didn't think so much when they plan their journey.

Natural disasters are increasing catastrophically. The world will no longer be the same and serious difficulties are ahead of us. Now it depends on everyone whether our civilization will continue to exist or whether the end will be put on us in 5-7 years.
Don't be indifferent to your own life. Analyze, compare facts and share this information with others: *"Global* *Crisis.* *The* *Responsibility"* *Creative* *Society*

My condolences to the affected Taiwanese 🇹🇼 who have enjoyed in their country:
    - voting,
    - transparency,
    - freedom of speech,
    - freedom of press,
    - a good economy, and
    - good relations with Western countries.
China 🇨🇳 has none of those things.

One-third of Singaporeans speak Mandarin. Majority of them are from the freedom-loving nation Taiwan 🇹🇼, not China.
Of those Mandarin speakers from China, most have *negative impressions* about the authoritarian surveillance regime.
