    Thank you, very interesting. Love the tip on creating a collar to hold the DE, definitely going to try this as I have a problem with ants.

    Really useful video! I have a fig tree in my garden, also very sandy soil, that has never produced fruit. I wonder if I could use this technique to try and give it a bit more life?

      Yes!!! Figs actually like quite a bit more watering than citrus and don't like drying out in between watering like lemons and other citrus trees do.
      I would suggest you put down a drip irrigation spiral from the base out to the drip line and run that irrigation twice a week.
      Fig roots are actually quite shallow and for fruit set they need very consistent moisture levels. Once you have fruit you also need good moisture otherwise the tree will drop its fruit.
      I hope this helps 🌻

    Gr8 vid again….
    Do you throw the infected leaves, fruit in the compost pile or discard completely?

      @MySustainabilityJourney  2 года назад +1

      Ah, thank you 💚 no, I would suggest you burn them in your next fire or discard in the bin. Added those leaves to the base of the tree will just create a new infestation/infection the next growing season 🌻
