- Today I wanted to kinda just talk about if NEW NICO'S NEXTBOTS is better than the LEGACY VERSION!
This is a very controverisal topic within the community so I wanted to talk about it a bit more!

The thing that makes me prefer the old version more is being able to bhop for fun rather than being forced to do it.
I think theres a reason why some prefer the old nicos nextbots, lry me explain:
Theres a certain uniqueness to Old Nico's Nextbots that separated it from other nextbot games.
Goofy Runners was puzzle-based and fun, but not scary, only having nextbots as something induce anxiety.
Same with Evade, it had scenarios and events where you, as the player, need to do something. It turned to a fun-based game where horror is completely out of the question, so thats why many kids play Evade compared to Nico's Nextbots
Old Nico's Nextbots was nothing like the new one (who have had comparisons with Evade due to reasons such as it being round-based and map-choosing) and instead served as a BETA or test for the real game.
People wanted it, because it delivered real chase horror and anxiety, which is incomparable to the adrenaline-filled anxiety of Evade and Goofy Runners.
Old Nico's Nextbots didnt had the speediness and allure as other nextbot games, hut atleast it was scary. Thats why people kept playing it, even if it was only one map.
Its the experience that OLD Nico's Nextbots gave to players who played it during that time, and now that has fizzled out of existence entirely, it has become one of the trendy nextbot games like Evade.

for me, they're both equal. i love the simplicity of old nico's and the nostalgia, but the new nico's is just way more fun and i love arcade mode.

i don't get why people like the old version over the new version, like I know the old version is nostalgic but the new version has a lot than the legacy version

Hmmmm…It’s kind hard too choose. The new update changed everything in a good way, there is a lot more stuff but…the classic with NN-mall and NN-russia was just simple but fun for us. It was just two maps (I guess sime extra If you consider the backrooms and the other maps.) and some nextbots. It was also really fun exploring the maps but now there is so many. I don’t know what to really choose, but I enjoyed playing both.
Older Nico's Nextbots is better than the new one imo. I just don't like breaking my fingers to bhop away from nextbots, they sometimes overflow the map like there way too many in one spot sometimes. I rather just run and outrun nextbots without struggling to bhop away from them
True, backrooms is a garbage now, the bots don't despawn anymore, if there are no people to catch, they start to roam the map instead of just standing still
Breaking your fingers? You literally just have to time your jumps, there is nothing tiring about that. If you can’t dodge the bots then that’s just a skill issue.

It's kinda a hard choice but honestly I would say old because of the simplicity, nextbots and old mall.

tbh new nn added more stuff into the game but the nostalgia is just too strong man
everyone who says old nicos nextbots is better is blinded by nostalgia, newer nnb def has more stuff to do in it and is better
The old Nico's nextbot was much more simpler and it was just a game where you run from a nextbot and since everything now is become progress based like the angry Munci it became a lot less fun but more challenging
I like the newer version more, it's just way more fun and it has a lot more content

Guys, I will put my opinion here. Old Nico's Nextbot it's better than the new. Why? Well, I loved the idea of old Nn, Survive for as long as possible, and the old nextbots. Now It became a "Evade 2". This ends up making me sad, since it was Nico's nextbots that brought me back to Roblox, and now devs ruined it. For me, the old nico's nextbots was like "wow, best game ever". Now it's more like "meh".
my pov and what i would like to say is:
old nnb nostalgia reasons for old players (like me and others and YOU Votex) or new players can get a taste of how old nnb used to be before the overhaul update released
new nnb just has more content and improved MAJORLY and almost everyone is familiar with the mechanics and more
overall il say that both are good imo and i like them. (legacy version has two bugs which are annoying and i dont think the devs are gonna fix it)

To be honest, I don't really see why are people complaining about the newer versions of Nico's nextbots, I mean NN_mall is still there and there are still the same nextbots (exept for Obunga because it has sadly been deleted).
Also I have one question, I feel like people prefer the older versions not because of their simplicity but rather because it's nostalgic? I mean it's a memory for some people.
I mean if Roblox reverted into its older versions like 2010 to 2016, people will say that the newer versions is better.
honestly, I prefer legacy even though there’s no task I love the challenge of the old ai when they break doors and throw stuff y’know
Man old nn was just so fun back then, but I also enjoy the new nn because of the bhopping
The people who are saying the old version is better are saying that because of one of these three reasons: 1. Too laggy to play the new one 2. Nostalgia 3. They have a skill issue and the new one is too hard for them to play

imo,the new nico's nextbots is a lot better cuz of the things that u can do and the bhop system is a lot better than the old nico's nextbots.

i quited nico’s nextbots and played evade but after that i feeled bad for nico’s nextbots its almost dead and i tries it again and it was funer and now im a nico’s nextbots player

I love the old one better becuase of the nostalgia and the nextbots are not too fast becuase on mobile its very hard to play and bhop so yea.
the new nico's nextbots is complex, more competitive. making it more fun for the players to keep playing, i know they did this to gain and keep their player base to the game, but its not really nico's nextbots.
the old nico's nextbots is simple, more popular, something you play on the side if your bored. the gameplay on this one is funny and scary, as the new one, you just bhop everywhere that the nextbots dont even catch you.

I would say this for a video cause Nico's Nextbot (legacy), its like kinda new and awesome because I've play that before like a lot, but the new version it has like a lot of stuff in thr shop and everything I've seen, so yes sorry Nico's Nextbot (legacy) I'm going for new on this

the problem with the new versión is that it forces you to be b-hopping instead of surviving

The thing I hate about the new version is that it's rounds. I wish I could select the maps like before (even tho legacy doesn't have that)
you still can! there's an open world gamemode in the main menu
Are you slow? You literally just have to press open world then you can choose the map you want instead of rounds. 🤦♂️
