@@jalyngarcia9166 If your a freshman in high school i'm also a freshman and my sister she's in college and she always tells me to not stress bcs it's not as bad as ppl make it seem just focus on your work try to get things turned on time don't start drama with anybody don't fight none of that do sports to make friends and the #1 thing she always tells me is to keep my GPA up as high as possible bcs once your GPA starts falling it's hard to get it back up and it's easier for you next 3 years and i do wanna say if you do want to get into college after high school you don't have to but i'm taking Ap Biology ap classes will get you ready for college
me personally, i cannot wait to get out of high school. i’m a senior this year
@@jalyngarcia9166 remember to breathe and that high school is supposed to be a rollercoaster, a fun one :) don’t miss out on events, clubs, community service (helps so much on college apps), and don’t miss out on finding new friends as well. I think you’re gonna do absolutely amazing in high school, you just need to believe in yourself and walk in that b with your head up!

I can honestly say that the only school supplies I used in college (bachelor's and master's) was paper and pens (for notes). Other than that, I just typed my papers and turned them in online (or physically depending on the teacher's preference).
I do year around schooling and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Especially because I get hired during the summer.
School starts August 9th and Im so readyyyy to go back to school shopping. I hope freshmen year goes good for you!!!! NEW SUBBIEEEE BTWWWW

I would suggest to bring some erasers and wood pencils too and maybe a notebook. I had times where i forgot to bring my charger and charge my laptop so couldn’t type my notes. Also some profs require wooden pencils for tests

I’m shocked at the prices of calculators in America like in the uk for one of the fancy fancy ones I think it’s like £40 at most??? Dropping 149$ on a calculator is insaneeee

Backpacks are way too expensive. I have one from a few years ago that still works, although it required some stitching to fix it. :)
Here's some of my tips/reccomendations for back to school btw !! :))
For pens, I highly reccomend the pilot G2 pens! They may be on the more expensive end for some, but they're really high quality pens. I have some of those myself! However, for my left-handed people like me, I do have to warn you that they MIGHT smudge if you don't let the ink dry or accidentally glide your hand across your paper when writing! Secondly, if you want to stay ahead and track your assignments, work shifts (if you're 16+), appointments, etc, I highly recommend a planner! For highlighters, I would reccoment purchasing some that don't smudge! For lined paper, I would recommend splurging on some reinforced filler paper by 5 star! It helps if you're working on assignments and typical lined paper is SUPER easy to rip out of binders! Lastly, for binders, if you want to save money, instead of getting multiple 1 or 2 inch ones, I recommend a 4 inch binder and some dividers. (I forgot what they're called)
