the exposed 3L light blueish grey axle at the based on the stand can be fixed if you put a 1L liftarm in black to cover up the exposed bit :)

You’re right! This is one of those things that is so obvious now that you pointed it out 😂😂😂

Thanks for the review! So I can explain the grooved bricks in wings central sections; this is an artifact left from initial prototype which also had more of those pieces in triangular sections. Those I did eventually got rid of, but I still liked them in the central section, even if they are not true to the source.
There is also an idea for the roller skates substitution: make a 1x2 jumper - 1x1 plate - 1x2 jumper modules and use them instead. This will make a cheap but effective greeble, too.

Thanks for the background on the fluted bricks! I definitely don't think they look bad but since you generally leave no detail out I figured there was something you knew that I did not :)
Good idea for replacing the roller skates too, I obviously bought them but I actually waited a bit because the original seller that the algorithm gave me was selling them for $.75 each (eyeroll). I eventually got them for like $.10 which was much better, but the initial price caused me to look for an alternative.

Very cool! It’s a marvel how Jerac was able to balance aesthetics and structure. Respect ✊

If I bought the original interceptor v1 instructions manual do I still have to buy the new v2 one? Or is it like the N1 starfighter where they gave the updated version to anyone that had bought the previous one? Either way tysm and great review!!!

You still have to buy it. When it first released Brick Vault was offering the v2 instructions for a discount to all those that purchased v1 - it might be worth emailing them to see if that offer is still on the table.

How much did the parts cost you?

Pricing information is in the conclusion section! I don’t track my individual cost per model because I collect parts for several at a time.
