Paul's voice ain't as bad as the press it gets. Besides, he is a legend, these are his songs (yes, Something also counts as his song) and we are paying to listen to him singing. I can understand Paul's fondness for his current bandmates but he shouldn't allow Abe to overpower his voice. Paul doesn't need it and this isn't a Beatles cover band.
Abe's voice is too loud, I hope this is not how it sounds being there. I don't care what people say about Paul's voice being weaker than what it was, I want to listen to Paul, whatever the state of his voice is. If I wanted to listen to someone else's voice doing Beatles songs I'd go see a Beatles cover band and that's not the case here.
I think it’s just a matter of the sound guys lifting Abe’s volume too high in the mix. They can never get the sound right when they’re broadcasting a live performance.
