Everyone is always on Jerry’s case for being a poor actor. So what if he was? To me, watching him try not to laugh is part of the fun of Seinfeld. It’s like he’s being more like the audience than someone in the show for a second. I find it amusing and relatable!

Fact: The Mets played the Pirates in Pittsburg on June 14, 1987 and won 7-3.
Who cares, it is one the best scenes ever...hey and spell Pittsburgh correctly next time

We would have arrived at the stadium days ahead, studied the route, checked all the stands. Never would have allowed all those wide-open windows overlooking Shea Stadium, never! We would have had our own spitters covering the area the minute somebody started hocking! They would have been on the radio. We would have been watching the building, checking for beers, coat under the arms... Never would have allowed a man to open an umbrella along the way! Never would have allowed Newman to slow down next to Keith Hernandez, much less say “Nice Game Pretty Boy!” You would have felt an army presence on the stands that day. But none of this happened. It was a violation of the most basic stadium code we have, and it's an indication of a massive plot based in Queens.
