Iasi is a historical city in Romania, located in the east of the country, near the border with Moldova. The city is known for its rich cultural heritage, Baroque and Neo-Gothic architecture, and historical monuments. In Iasi you can see a number of important historical attractions, such as the Mihai Eminescu Cultural Institute, the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the residence of the Great Voivodes, as well as visit numerous museums and parks. The city is also famous for its university and active student life.
