He watched his mother be brutally murdered when he was a young boy and didnt get to live with his father because he was wrongfully imprisoned for it. When he finally thinks he is past his mother's death, he watches his father die too. He begs for his dad's life. Who out there can say they wouldn't go back to save their parents. That's why he was so obsessed with saving Iris. I believe he would have been almost as obsessed had it been Joe. But he risk his life all the time for people. Thanks to the arrow and Iris for being realistic and EMPATHIC. He never intentionally hurt anyone. He was a young developing boy with powers that chose to use them to save people's lives. I'd rather have Barry and all his mistakes than any of the people calling him a villain or harping on his mistakes. Those people are arrogant and judgemental. Not the makings of a superhero. wow, you really captured Barry's journey very well!! this is so beautiful and well-done! and you're right, the writing on Barry has been somewhat inconsistent last season, but I loved that in the end he sacrificed himself as redemption for what he's done. and despite some errors in consistency last season really showed that Barry is as much of a flawed human being as anyone else. being a hero is not about being perfect, but about putting the greater good above all else.

I love all the parallels between the people dying because of Barry or for Barry and the onsequences, which, as you said in your description, is not really obvious in the show, I agree 100% with what you said, the final scene was beautiful but instead of this feeling of peace I would rather have seen on Barry guilt and relieve that he would finally make up for everything that happened, and yeah NOBODY cared about HR wtf I found the scene on the couh cute too but wrong, I don't know if you watch Grey's Anatomy but there is one episode where a main charatcer dies and all the other main charatcers start to laugh at his funeral and just can't stop laughing, this scene was emotionnal with a "let it all out" kind of vibe,whereas in the Flash it just seemed inappropriate. And I'm not a fan either of Barry's arc in S3, I just liked the fact that the consequences of his actions would come bite him in the ass xD But then again it wasn't that much delivered in a good way, even if I love Barry, he is one of my faves of the show but I think that your video shows wayyyy better what season 3 should have done, everything is just there, we see what Barry's choices caused to everyone, but at the same time how bad he feels about all this chaos, with the scenes of him begging, losing his friends...anyways enough ranting I'm sorry for that long comment xD Another masterpiece !!!

Season 3 really poured on the guilt a bit thick, I think, only to back track and create double standards for what Barry cannot do and what The Reverse Flash and The Legends do all the time. If anyone has destroys lives, it's Eobard Thawne. And he never shows remorse or pays penance. But your video? Outstanding!
well i believe that the sad parts of this is that first his mother died and then after some of his friends/team mates died and then last was his dad died berry must have alot of guilt in him if all these deaths happen and he wittnessed it to that really has to affect you in your emotions and mentally just sad but i love this video cuse it captures just that. bravo😁😊
