Andrei Galanchuk that’s good. I have a very important econometrics exam on Friday and am deeply struggling with the content. This is definitely giving me a start.
Thanks for your video explanation, Andrei. This helped me understand situations where non-linear regression is clearly more appropriate than linear. I especially appreciated the application of the modelling to age/revenue generation in the workplace as this grounded the theory in a tangible way. I was wondering if you had other videos explaining HOW the equation represented this non-linearity? I have no mathematical background so was left confused by this part. Apologies if this is very rudimentary but it seemed the most elegant part of the video! Thanks for your guidance.
Thank you very much Andrei. You explain everything so comprehensively, I learn more from you than my professors. Could you please also share video tutorials on interpretation of coefficients from STATA, as well as some information on polynomial and logarithm function? Thanks in advance.
@@andreigalanchuk Yeah I found them very useful. Thanks a lot! I just only couldn't find videos on Polynomial function.. Would highly appreciate if you could suggest some..
Ay Ish hi..yes..it is linear in parameters..i.e. the coefficient of the quadratic variable has a linear effect on the outcome variable..does this make sense?
I am so happy I've found your channel
I am so happy to hear this.

Thanks! I have some interpretation videos in the econometrics playlist..i believe they are among the last ones.

Polynomial regression is a special case of multiple linear regression. It is not a nonlinear regression.
this was so helpful for me. thanks for sharing !
Hi, you wouldn't consider uploading for Basic Financial? I learn more from you than my professors
Hello!
Thank you for the compliment.
I am not very good at Accounting.
I will look at Khan Academy and make a playlist from there.
Hi, in a previous video you said that wages= B0+Bx^2+E would still be linear...but here the equation is non linear?

Ay Ish welcome)
you mean there are two types of non linearity?
This is wrong!!! It is all linear!!!
