Great video. I am a little concerned about staying around Omonia , but the price is much more affordable for Airbnb there , especially staying for more than a month and all by myself. I think you helped me. Thank you.

Thank you Luah for your kind words Omonia is indeed a good budget option just be careful with the little streets toward Metaxourgio and stick to major roads and you will be fine! 🙂

Thank you, super helpful! Can you please tell me what were those streets in Omonia you mentioned that are safe to book a hotel? Thank you for a great video!

Thank you Pati, I am happy you found it useful! 🙂 The hotels on the Omonoia square are fine, and also in Athinas str., Stadiou & Panepistimiou and on 28th October (Patission str)

I'm American so will I get arrested if I beat up a pick pocket who tries to rob me? If so, how much is the bail money approximately? Thank you. I enjoy your video.

Thank you Mary for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I totally understand the frustration of dealing with pickpockets - it's something no one wants to experience. However, I would never encourage violence because it can easily escalate into something more serious. Staying vigilant and taking precautions is usually the best way to handle it. Hope when you get to Greece, you have a lovely time here! 🙂
