I would suggest all my muslim brothers don't concentrate on exmuslims they liberals and transgenders. Please show positive things otherwise negativity will surpass positivity.
1. Is there really gender equality in Islam as you claim?, lets see: 2. According to your prophet women are deficient in their intellect and their faith. 3. Two women's witness is equal to one man's witness. 4. Women can be beaten (so then who beats the bad evil men?), unless women only are bad. 5. This faith condones rape of women (allows women to be prostitutes for the benefit of men) 6. And the list is inequality and oppression of women continues (the Quran a book written by a man for men) - all this can be sourced from authentic hadiths. 7. Ex-muslims are not ignorant about Islam, it is they that have see the real Islam and opted out. 8. Allah forgave the prostitute because he allows prostitution (i.e. Mutah) 9. This fool says Allah forgives those that are sincere in their repentance...but clearly in that hadith this prostitute never asked Allah to forgive her, so how was her sins forgiven?. Clearly from this example it shows that anyone that is a sinner just has to give a thirsty dog some water (that is if any could find a dog since Mohammad superstitiously had them all killed). 10. As for comparing the crimes to the West as if it is just this part of the world that is evil. Mohammad & his gang of thieves raped, murdered & killed and had they lived in this day & age they would have been more likely end up in prison destroying the families they had 11. And don't give us this rubbish about 2 parent households when you can have up to 4 wives (and you are allowed Mutah). 12. Show us any Islamic society that is better off - when they are all controlled in those society's (is this not the reason so many flee to the West)?. 13. Islam offers you possible "hope" for a future (in the new life)...the difference is, Christianity promises you a better future (in the new life). 14. And its evident you are clueless about Christianity, since there are 3 person in the ONE GOD (not 3 gods as you stated, so that's a fallacy). 15. You claim the Trinity is confusing...and that it is based on faith alone (this is not entirely true, since Scripture gives us ample evidence...another fallacy). 16. And Christians don't ignore their logic...but who says God's logic is man's logic?. Is God not beyond human understanding...if so what does our logic help, since we don't understand God's logic and never will? 17. Your quote of surah 2:164 is more fallacy, since if this surah was totally true there would be no unbelievers or atheist. 18. Christianity's teaching remains to today what it has always been in the past (it never changed to suit the period, since it's message is universally set for man throughout the ages. So this liberalism you mentioned in Christianity is false and if you knew the Scripture you would know this....What people do that call themselves Christian does not defined what Christianity is....don't mix these 2 and assume that is truth, since it is not.
well i was never a muslim. but i've read the texts and am fairly familiar with the religion. the presenter said women are equal. how is that even close to true when women need a male wali?

It's very common f for people born into a religion to not know much about it. The average christian doesn't know much about the bible or christianity. The same is true for the average buddhist, hindu etc.... It's usually the converts who are the most knowledgeable, since they actually invested the time to learn about the religion they are converting to.
Or by their fruits for example statistically and you can look it up, it states that 1 out of 10 Muslims is a terrorist and since I'm an ex Christian who was a Christian for 40 years I can truly tell you 9 out of 10 Christians are a terrorist (no im not over exaggerating), Now what does the word terrorist mean, let's dissect the word terrorist, The word terrorist doesn't mean strapping a bomb to your body, terrorism comes in all form you can terrorize anyone in million ways. Now as far as, are 9 out of 10 Christian terrorists, I will say yes look at their past and look at all the atrocity they had committed for no reason at all but for their own benefit and money. Now as far as that 1 out of 10 Muslim is a terrorist that one Muslim is actually pissed off at the Christians for not leaving him and his people alone.

Bottom line is, Islam has strict laws. We acknowledge the earth (dunya) is not for us. We will get the hereafter. When you love life, and want no rules, and want to do what you want to do, then Islam feels restrictive.

I think it's because of her culture. Cultures can be oppressive I see this sometimes. It's not the fault of Islam but womens unfriendly suspects of cultures. I here this often also with Turkish, Moroccan, Pakistani, Arab.. if a man commits zina, drinks alcohol or smokes it's not a big problem and will be forgiven but if a womens does and regret they keep seeing her as bad. It has nothing to do with Islam, but people mix it because most people are more cultural.

After Hubble proved the universe was expanding, that verse was interpreted to say "expanding" too.......basically getting bigger. Big and getting bigger are 2 different concepts, which means the quran's meaning changes and it's not clear at all.

In the Quran, the word for it is "La musiuoon"(I hope I typed it correctly) Which if you put in dictionary, it literally means "expanding" Or Extends Or Widen Widen is also a verb So it shows that the context is clear, that the verse is showing that Allah is indeed the all powerful God who is still expanding the universe. The word literally means it while also meaning vast. As in arabic, a word can hold multiple meanings if it's not contradictory. As the word is in continous tense "musiuoon" Hence, it means that it's being widen, it's being expanded But even if the word vast was being applied, it doesn't necessarily mean that it can't be expanded. Vast means: Of very great extent and quantity Now you can't really say that it means the universe is limited. Never has it been said that something big can't be expanded. Khalas The word does mean expanding but even if it doesn't, vast never means that the universe isn't expanding. Jizakallah khair.

I think the story she is talking about was the story of the man that killed his daughter because she was a girl and not a boy. To the non Muslims reading this comment and the nonbelievers, She missed the key point in this story which is the fact that the man was crying a lot and due to his distress the prophet(PBUH) decided to ask the man and he emotionally replied that he killed his daughter, it is said that the prophet(PBUH) cried soo much that his entire beard became wet and as the Prophet (PBUH) was leaving he said to the man,” if Allah had allowed me to punish my ummah, I would’ve starter with you”. It’s clear that she has no idea about Islam because when Islam was revealed, many fathers were murdering their daughters because women were seen as weak and fathers desired sons, it was Islam and the prophet that said to this people that daughters are a blessing for a family from Allah. It’s ridiculous how these ex Muslims were never even Muslims in the first place, may Allah guide her.
And she somehow never heard about the prostitute who was forgiven for giving water to a thirsty dog - she never even intended repentance by the action; Allah swt just liked the action and forgave her - so where is this double standard that women can’t be forgiven?

My cousins aren't ex muslims but pretty much obsessed with the western cultures. They all the time listen to western unIslamic musics, scrolling Instagram, dating multiple girls and boys at same time, smoking, getting drunk etc. Surprisingly their parents pray 5 times day and one of them did Hajj. But they (uncles and aunts) gave their children so much liberty that now they can't turn them back to right path and now compromising with it. I tried to give advice to them because I grew up with them but they totally ignored me. So I'm now avoiding them completely.
I think best you do that but if come back change their ways you can guide them .Please try to not be influence by them because Allah is watching at all times
May Allah swt guide them and bring them closer to Islam. I don't advice you to avoid them completely. Upholding the ties of kinship is obligatory to the extent that one is able to do it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No one who severs the ties of kinship will enter Paradise.” Just make sure that they don't corrupt your faith. Make sure to be the one influencing them and not the other way around

Most of the ex Muslim on internet are someone who was never a Muslim and just wants to mock Islam, if there really is an ex Muslim you can be sure they were just born to it and never really practiced it
Wallahi even the North American Ex-muslim organization made a survey in 2021 that showed the vast majority of murtadeen were very weak in their practice or non-practicing period. Like many of them went to parties, did alcohol, drugs, zina, and immodest clothing. If these people actually devoted themselves to Islam and understood the deen for what it really is, they wouldn't be ex-muslims wallahi.

There are no ex muslims, these people may have muslim parents but they never believed or even understood the religion. You cannot become exmuslim as once you see the truth you can't unsee it.
I'm a muslim woman and I actually understand what she means with muslims shaming others at 9:16 since I have experienced one type of shaming myself. As a teenager I got really interested in learning more about islam and even started practising it. I didn't know much about islam prior since my parents are typical Balkan muslims (only muslim in name). I had some struggles practising the religion and also got discouraged because other muslims at school (from arab countries) ridiculed and mocked me. For example there was this one muslim guy in class that found out I eat halal food and started laughing loudly and pointed at me and said "what, do you think you're muslim"? Not once did a muslim in school support my efforts and I tried to hide and avoid topics of islam because they would question it and talk behind my back. I also wanted to pray in school but was too afraid of what the others would say. Unlike many of them I was calm, quiet and refrained from doing bad things, but for some reason it was weird to them that an eastern european girl started practising islam. I think this shaming is more of a cultural thing and unfortunately some cultures are extremely judgy and shaming, ESPECIALLY to women. I can't help but think that if I was a man they wouldn't have acted the same towards me. But alhamdullilah I met other wonderful muslims at the mosque and my older sister was also practising with me. My story is just one example, I've witnessed a lot of different shaming which I think makes people distance themselves from other muslims and in turn the entire religion. Shaming others and speaking against evil are two different things. Please let's acknowledge this problem and try to be more empathethic to those who are trying to learn more about islam or have lost their iman. I also recognized early on that those who are shaming others are many times those who inherited the religion by their parents and aren't actively practising/studying it themselves. The guy who mocked me the most came from a very religous family, and today he's a criminal and have done some disgusting things.
Glad you had perseverance. It is not easy to be rational and not be swayed by cultural influence. At the end of the day, we have to remember the difference between cultural and religious values, cause culture is more heavily weighted by human influence, which should be overcome by hard truth and knowledge of what Islam actually is. Christianity is in shambles for this exact reason.
I dont think anything is going to change much if it's a guy being shamed. Guys will use fist. Women will use their mouth/gossips to bully. It's just the method that God tests you is different.

The fact is that in Mideast/south Asian cultures there is hypocrisy toward what male and female do but in Islam and God they are the same. Also Islam emphasis the equality of humanity but males and females have different roles. Anything that abuses females and make her into second class citizen is not Islamic but from the previous pre-Islamic culture that somehow survived.
She simply wanted to be a liberal. Believing that men are women are equal emotionally, physically and socially is stupid. We're a team. Islam is the biggest promoter of modesty, family bonding, discipline and brings up solution to all social issues.
The story she is speaking of involves a weak narration of Umar RAA. It goes as follows: Once ‘Umar (Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu) was sitting with his companions when all of a sudden he started to laugh after which he began to cry. Those around him asked him, “What made you laugh after which you cried?” He replied,” During the days of Jāhiliyyah (ignorance), we used to make idols out of dates which we would worship and when we would get hungry we would eat them! Remembering this made me laugh. As for my crying, one day, I took my daughter to a field to bury her alive. As I was digging the grave, some dust fell on my beard. My daughter saw this and wiped the dust off my beard. Remembering this made me cry.” While the story does not talk about Umar being forgiven for this, some speakers may use this story to point out the horrible things people used to do in Jahiliyya (before Islam) and how after accepting Islam they are forgiven of their past sins and would reform their characters to become noble, righteous people as Umar became. This story is cited in some books of Sira (biographies) but it is weak and generally rejected. In any case, this girl even misunderstood the general idea that this story is often used to teach- that Allah will forgive sins done in ignorance if the person becomes Muslim. Unlike her misunderstanding though, this forgiveness applies to any human, male or female, and the idea that a man can kill his daughter and just be forgiven for the virtue of him being a man and the daughter a female is selective hearing on her part, because no legitimate Muslim would teach that, even one who is using unreliable stories because that idea goes against everything else that Islam teaches in reliable sources like Qur'an and Sunnah. Allah knows best.
The result of cultural Islam is that either people leave Islam because of those Muslim's behavior or practices or join Islam because of those cultural practices which are bidah n shirk and don't really include pure Islamic practices or are mixed together ( eg joining Islam but only celebrating Eids, joining Islam because you love Nasheeds with music, because you love the innovated celebrations for the birth of Muhammad SAW etc)

She laid it in a simple way, it’s liberalism that grabbed her attention, but I got to say it’s interesting how she claims to understand Islam better than Sneako because she can speak Arabic yet she couldn’t falsify her culture perspective using the texts, really shows it was just a wasted merit, she didn’t use her skill in the language in any meaningful way, but still will boost herself in front of Sneako. Actually Sneako doesn’t need to learn Arabic but an individual who will act as an Arabic expert or an Islamic scholar needs to understand Arabic certainly.

The things she say are unheard of in Islam. Many of these women weren't even practicing women in the first place and hardly knew a thing about Islam but just born into it. You will find that many of them if you were to analyse deeply on their actions even before leaving Islam that they were actually promiscious and felt that Islam is preventing them from exploring their desires that would be considered haram.

This story is not one that’s embraced but one that we Muslims have always deeply cried and mourned over, just as the Prophet (PBUH) did at the time. Thanks for your efforts in this video, it's a beautiful response to the misleading statements propagated by many "ex-Muslims" to new muslims. I myself converted to Islam not too long ago, and i can tell you with certainty, the most tricky situation for a new Muslim, who is not from an Islamic background, is a discussion with a pseudo-intellectual, passive-aggressive, liberal so called ex-Muslim who grew up/ came from a Islamic background. Specially when this ex-Muslim arrogantly claims that (because of her background) she has knowledge in the language and "closeness" to the religion in front of a large non-Muslim audience. When i converted i have had the exact same conversations with Turkish, syrian, iranian ex-muslims who claimed they understood Islam inside out ( also because of their background), and tried to give me the impression that "they've been there". In the end, after i did my own study, most of the things they told me were political/cultural issues or blatant lies. This woman tends to judge Islam solely based on the standards of Western liberalism, which if we study historically ( and not emotionally) ALWAYS falls into moral decay and large scale human sacrifice. It is observed in many historical books, prosperous and affluent nations who let go of their religious moral framework produce a generation that possesses the prideful luxury to attempt to reshape human nature, stretching it like an elastic resulting in a forceful snap back to reality, resulting in the cost of millions of lives lost in a brief span of time, we have seen this multiple times with liberal/atheist ideologies, it does not work, there are universal laws Allah set in place, we cannot break those laws, they can only break us. God created everything in balance, and in my favorite Surah ( Surah al Rahman) God makes this clear. ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍۢ ٥ The sun and the moon ˹travel˺ with precision. وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ ٦ The stars and the trees bow down ˹in submission˺. وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ ٧ As for the sky, He raised it ˹high˺, and set the balance ˹of justice˺ أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ ٨ so that you do not defraud the scales. Allah goes as far to give the example of different things in nature like Tree's and Stars or plants all being in harmony because inherently operate within Allah's will. This is the beauty of their submission to the divine order. As humans, we have been sent scriptures as a mercy, to recognize and emulate this profound surrender to Allah and our freedom to do so. There is no escape or sanctuary elsewhere; the true refuge lies within oneself, seeking solace with Allah (SWT) rather than turning to other gods, be they one's desires, emotions, ideologies or intellect. Free will, preceding our intellect, determines where your intellect takes you, and the values one embraces. By aligning our free will with Allah's will, we find guidance and harmony. Wa alaikum salam

The first story she said is miles off, it's not up to Allah to forgive if you harmed a person, that person must forgive you as well as Allah forgiving you, otherwise punishment is definitely unavoidable. There is something called Haqooq-Allah (rights of Allah) and Haqooq-Al Ibad (rights of the creation). It's very common f for people born into a religion to not know much about it. The average christian doesn't know much about the bible or christianity. The same is true for the average buddhist, hindu etc....

I think it's because of her culture. Cultures can be oppressive I see this sometimes. It's not the fault of Islam but womens unfriendly suspects of cultures. But there is. Verse 51:47 was initially interpreted as the universe is "vast" or "ample".......basically big.
After Hubble proved the universe was expanding, that verse was interpreted to say "expanding" too.......basically getting bigger.
Big and getting bigger are 2 different concepts, which means the quran's meaning changes and it's not clear at all.

Now you can't really say that it means the universe is limited. Never has it been said that something big can't be expanded. Khalas

I think the story she is talking about was the story of the man that killed his daughter because she was a girl and not a boy. To the non Muslims reading this comment and the nonbelievers,
She missed the key point in this story which is the fact that the man was crying a lot and due to his distress the prophet(PBUH) decided to ask the man and he emotionally replied that he killed his daughter, it is said that the prophet(PBUH) cried soo much that his entire beard became wet and as the Prophet (PBUH) was leaving he said to the man,” if Allah had allowed me to punish my ummah, I would’ve starter with you”. It’s clear that she has no idea about Islam because when Islam was revealed, many fathers were murdering their daughters because women were seen as weak and fathers desired sons, it was Islam and the prophet that said to this people that daughters are a blessing for a family from Allah. It’s ridiculous how these ex Muslims were never even Muslims in the first place, may Allah guide her.

My cousins aren't ex muslims but pretty much obsessed with the western cultures. They all the time listen to western unIslamic musics, scrolling Instagram, dating multiple girls and boys at same time, smoking, getting drunk etc. Surprisingly their parents pray 5 times day and one of them did Hajj. But they (uncles and aunts) gave their children so much liberty that now they can't turn them back to right path and now compromising with it. I tried to give advice to them because I grew up with them but they totally ignored me. So I'm now avoiding them completely.
I think best you do that but if come back change their ways you can guide them .Please try to not be influence by them because Allah is watching at all times
May Allah swt guide them and bring them closer to Islam.
I don't advice you to avoid them completely. Upholding the ties of kinship is obligatory to the extent that one is able to do it.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No one who severs the ties of kinship will enter Paradise.”
Just make sure that they don't corrupt your faith. Make sure to be the one influencing them and not the other way around

I'm a muslim woman and I actually understand what she means with muslims shaming others at 9:16 since I have experienced one type of shaming myself. As a teenager I got really interested in learning more about islam and even started practising it. I didn't know much about islam prior since my parents are typical Balkan muslims (only muslim in name). I had some struggles practising the religion and also got discouraged because other muslims at school (from arab countries) ridiculed and mocked me. For example there was this one muslim guy in class that found out I eat halal food and started laughing loudly and pointed at me and said "what, do you think you're muslim"? Not once did a muslim in school support my efforts and I tried to hide and avoid topics of islam because they would question it and talk behind my back. I also wanted to pray in school but was too afraid of what the others would say. Unlike many of them I was calm, quiet and refrained from doing bad things, but for some reason it was weird to them that an eastern european girl started practising islam. I think this shaming is more of a cultural thing and unfortunately some cultures are extremely judgy and shaming, ESPECIALLY to women. I can't help but think that if I was a man they wouldn't have acted the same towards me. But alhamdullilah I met other wonderful muslims at the mosque and my older sister was also practising with me.
My story is just one example, I've witnessed a lot of different shaming which I think makes people distance themselves from other muslims and in turn the entire religion. Shaming others and speaking against evil are two different things. Please let's acknowledge this problem and try to be more empathethic to those who are trying to learn more about islam or have lost their iman. I also recognized early on that those who are shaming others are many times those who inherited the religion by their parents and aren't actively practising/studying it themselves. The guy who mocked me the most came from a very religous family, and today he's a criminal and have done some disgusting things.

Glad you had perseverance. It is not easy to be rational and not be swayed by cultural influence. At the end of the day, we have to remember the difference between cultural and religious values, cause culture is more heavily weighted by human influence, which should be overcome by hard truth and knowledge of what Islam actually is. Christianity is in shambles for this exact reason.

The fact is that in Mideast/south Asian cultures there is hypocrisy toward what male and female do but in Islam and God they are the same. Also Islam emphasis the equality of humanity but males and females have different roles. Anything that abuses females and make her into second class citizen is not Islamic but from the previous pre-Islamic culture that somehow survived.
She simply wanted to be a liberal. Believing that men are women are equal emotionally, physically and socially is stupid. We're a team. Islam is the biggest promoter of modesty, family bonding, discipline and brings up solution to all social issues.
The story she is speaking of involves a weak narration of Umar RAA. It goes as follows: Once ‘Umar (Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu) was sitting with his companions when all of a sudden he started to laugh after which he began to cry. Those around him asked him, “What made you laugh after which you cried?” He replied,” During the days of Jāhiliyyah (ignorance), we used to make idols out of dates which we would worship and when we would get hungry we would eat them! Remembering this made me laugh. As for my crying, one day, I took my daughter to a field to bury her alive. As I was digging the grave, some dust fell on my beard. My daughter saw this and wiped the dust off my beard. Remembering this made me cry.”
While the story does not talk about Umar being forgiven for this, some speakers may use this story to point out the horrible things people used to do in Jahiliyya (before Islam) and how after accepting Islam they are forgiven of their past sins and would reform their characters to become noble, righteous people as Umar became. This story is cited in some books of Sira (biographies) but it is weak and generally rejected. In any case, this girl even misunderstood the general idea that this story is often used to teach- that Allah will forgive sins done in ignorance if the person becomes Muslim. Unlike her misunderstanding though, this forgiveness applies to any human, male or female, and the idea that a man can kill his daughter and just be forgiven for the virtue of him being a man and the daughter a female is selective hearing on her part, because no legitimate Muslim would teach that, even one who is using unreliable stories because that idea goes against everything else that Islam teaches in reliable sources like Qur'an and Sunnah. Allah knows best.
The result of cultural Islam is that either people leave Islam because of those Muslim's behavior or practices or join Islam because of those cultural practices which are bidah n shirk and don't really include pure Islamic practices or are mixed together ( eg joining Islam but only celebrating Eids, joining Islam because you love Nasheeds with music, because you love the innovated celebrations for the birth of Muhammad SAW etc)

Thanks for your efforts in this video, it's a beautiful response to the misleading statements propagated by many "ex-Muslims" to new muslims. I myself converted to Islam not too long ago, and i can tell you with certainty, the most tricky situation for a new Muslim, who is not from an Islamic background, is a discussion with a pseudo-intellectual, passive-aggressive, liberal so called ex-Muslim who grew up/ came from a Islamic background. Specially when this ex-Muslim arrogantly claims that (because of her background) she has knowledge in the language and "closeness" to the religion in front of a large non-Muslim audience. When i converted i have had the exact same conversations with Turkish, syrian, iranian ex-muslims who claimed they understood Islam inside out ( also because of their background), and tried to give me the impression that "they've been there". In the end, after i did my own study, most of the things they told me were political/cultural issues or blatant lies.
This woman tends to judge Islam solely based on the standards of Western liberalism, which if we study historically ( and not emotionally) ALWAYS falls into moral decay and large scale human sacrifice. It is observed in many historical books, prosperous and affluent nations who let go of their religious moral framework produce a generation that possesses the prideful luxury to attempt to reshape human nature, stretching it like an elastic resulting in a forceful snap back to reality, resulting in the cost of millions of lives lost in a brief span of time, we have seen this multiple times with liberal/atheist ideologies, it does not work, there are universal laws Allah set in place, we cannot break those laws, they can only break us. God created everything in balance, and in my favorite Surah ( Surah al Rahman) God makes this clear.

There is something called Haqooq-Allah (rights of Allah) and Haqooq-Al Ibad (rights of the creation). Yes Allah is oft forgiving most merciful and He will forgive if you repent after you have done something that is neglecting and disobeying His commandments but when you trespass the rights of the creation for example killing or hurting a person or any other creation in any way then Allah (SWT) will NOT FORGIVE YOU until that person whom you have hurt forgives you the oppressor.

To the story of the sahabi that buried his daughter and then went to the bar to drink, there was story for a man that told prophet muhammed what he did to his daughter. After he told the prophet (saw), the prophet (saw) was obviously angry and then said if he was allowed to punish anyone for their sins from before islam, he would have started with this man that buried his daughter.
