I've seen it online like in reddit christian groups etc with ppl saying they are fellow Christians, then accusing/bullying fellow believers of not doing enough or being Christian enough- gatekeeping,
and/or they say that they are a new believer so they have so many questions but those quesrions sound accusatory/ straw man arguments rather than genuine questions
This is a good video this answered my question thank you. There are consequences for being in the flesh and I'll do my best to obey God's commandments to stay in fellowship and experience God's love.

They seem to rejoice in someone going to hell rather than rejoice in brother/sisters being saved from it and praying for others to be saved. It’s truly sad to see. This video is so accurate to my thoughts when seeing this toxicity. Per usual, you say it how it is my brother. 🙏💪☝️

I truly believe that we all, regardless of denomination location etc if we believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again on the 3rd day, and is the Son of God the Father, that there is only 1 God 3 persons, we should band all together as brothers and sisters in Christ. One of my biggest red flags for people like this are the ones who always say things like "God gave me a vision" or "God told me in a dream" or "i died and went to hell and you won't believe the reason God sent me to hell". And it's almost always because they weren't doing enough works for God. Or God told them in this vision or dream that "people are going to lose salvation and go to hell because they have "dead faith"/ not doing works/ enough works. Or they aren't turning from sin etc." Those are major red flags. I often like to call people out like that and ask them to provide scripture that backs up what they are claiming. Because if you can't provide scripture to back it up, you are a liar. You can always tell they don't truly know who christ is because if they did, they would know that once you come to faith in christ, your sins are no longer held against you in Gods eyes. They are forgiven for all of eternity.

@torontobiblestudy I believe while heartedly that God speaks to the hearts of those who truly believe and have faith in christ. He's put things in my heart before and I was edified by them. But when someone claims "God spoke to me" or "I had a nde and went to hell because of ""this one sin"" or "I wasn't doing enough works to please God and so he punished me" etc etc, you can always tell they aren't being honest because nowhere does the bible say that those who are saved go to hell. If you don't believe/ deny christ, your sin will send you to hell. But Christ's death provided forgiveness to all who believe and put their faith in Him. THAT is the true gospel. The bible says that the message of that is foolishness to those who do not know christ. Not my word. The bibles word.

The idea that God talks directly to people is dangerous. It puts people in the same position as a prophet or apostle. Most Pentecostals believe this, most Free Gracers do not.
