In this case, though, you are right. Not being able to get the return door open should have no bearing on whether you win what's in the return or not. I can understand about the coin, because YOU threw it back in. However, that is something you could just take up with Mike later, and if he agrees with you, he can add the 2k to your total, since you pay them or they pay you at the end of the month.

I can't blame the employee for not paying off on the coin you accidentally dropped back in. The other two issues were definitely unfair. I have always found the lack of explicit, agreed upon rules frustrating on this channel. That is what can lead to these disagreements. Clear, simply rules, written down, is the strong suit of all valid competitions. Vague and numerous "if-then" rules work against the integrity of these contests.
