    I appreciate that you are quick and to the point. Loved this video. I get so tired of waiting for most RUclips contributors to get to the point and even worse are the ones that try to be comedians. I just want to learn something and I'm not worried about being entertained. I did use the pause and rewind quite a bit and that is what it is there for. May I ask what wattage is your machine?

      Hi John. You made my day. I think this is the nicest compliment ever! Thanks for watching. In this video I’m using my Mira 5 laser which is a 40 watt. I just posted a new video on how to make an Upper Right Origin jig you may like ruclips.net/video/OMDXTWz1G2M/видео.html

    This is a great video! I love the way the jig is all the way back in the corner, which is what I would like to do as well (I'm new). Question: how did you get your system color to be magenta?? Thanks for the awesome content. :)

    I have a Mira 9 90 watt and when I put the wood in the far right corner and try to cut after I set the user origin to the top right, it beeps and says “no enough”, “extend space” and will not allow me to continue. I’m sure it’s supposed to say not enough but I know what it means. I can’t get past this point.

    Hi there, I am new to lightburn :) Please can you tell me how do you fill your circle in? If i make a circle, I only have a red outline of the circle, whereas the whole of your circle is coloured red, please can you tell me how I do this as it makes designing so much easier for me? Thanks xx

    • @thehopeyoder
      @thehopeyoder  2 года назад

      Hi Kelsie. Are you in my @engravingwithhopeyoder FB group? I have some tutorials there. But in the settings window choose Mode "LINE" to cut. I have my LB WIndow set up to FILLED/SMOOTH which will give you a visual of a flood of color for FILL settings (engrave) and an outline for LINE settings (cut)

    I use Lightburn but on a omtech Polar, would i need to set my material to the right like you do in the video?

    • @thehopeyoder
      @thehopeyoder  3 месяца назад

      It really won’t matter which corner you put it in as long as when you cut the jig and when you use the placement file, it’s always back in the same place

    Is there a way to get the text in ALL the slots without having to manually place each one? That can be very time consuming if you need to do a large number. I've been looking, but can't find that feature. ?

    • @thehopeyoder
      @thehopeyoder  2 года назад +1

      I agree it takes a little bit of time. We usually place the first name in the first pencil opening. Next, we right-click on the text/duplicate and use the down arrows on our keyboard to move the text down to the next pencil slot and that goes pretty quick. After you have 2 names, select both, right-click/duplicate and use the down arrows to move the next two into the next postions. This goes very quickly.

      Thank you for watching and subscribing. On the wood had a faint box around the jig. It really isn't there for any particular reason. Is that what you are referring to? I engraved the text and arrow and cut out the slots for the pencils.
