ABOUT & GAMEPLAY: FPS CHESS
Play an ordinary game of chess against a friend or a stranger.
However, all your intricate strategies will crumble before the enemy rook's sniper trick-shot.
All your practiced openings and counters will amount to nothing before the enemy queen's randomly sprayed machine gun.
You finally checkmate the king. Unfortunately, it seems you are not ready for this fight. 5 seconds in and you've been sliced in half by the king's sword.

I was in a chess club in school and I ALWAYS came in freaking 2nd in tournaments... Never first never third or anything, literally every single time I came in second.... Grrrrr

Blitz won on the tie because the king still died and blitz still had his king alive. That was an epic match fairplay. I cant wait to get my new laptop (I broke mine accidentally) so I can play this online. It takes the elo rating out of the game and seems like a proper battle. Love the content 🥰

Blitz also might have won the tie because he initiated the battle, winning him the fight, and killing Intern's king.
@@kkidude8441 no it’s because both pieces were destroyed. So on a tie both players loose their piece.

This game has some serious balancing issues. It seems fun, but the knight is very overpowered and so is the king. I understand that they are important pieces, but the game is a lot less fun if you can destroy every piece with one unit. Maybe if you attack and hurt a piece, like the king, but still lose, some of that damage could carry to the next time the king fights
I had no clue dmg can carry over.

@@thekinginyellowmessiahofha6308 Their issue is that no piece can kill the knight or king other than the king, queen and knight. I'd also argue that the rook is overpowered as well, it can one-hit most things at the very start of the match.
Imo the piece that initiates the combat should have the upper hand, so the chess part of the game is just as important as the FPS part.

Funny how the most vulnerable piece is now one of the strongest
Especially when it's Sword against a Gun.
Reminiscent of the fact that the king can ONLY move 1 tile but at any direction, so long as it's not a checkmate trap.

That last King v Pawn was an illegal move. Moved the king right into check with the rook and the queen
The FPS bits probably change the rules, though, so this does look kinda fun.

hey blitz, cat goes fishing has another huge fish. it's called the shaku. (also called ??? in the catalog.)
you can catch it by casting and swiming. (i assume by casting then pressing Q like normal.) and catch it with the mega hook. (make sure you have large bait on before you swim to him.) also, if you're wondering, he doesn't fight much. he fights just as much as a normal shark. though he is also a shark.

I watched all the fps chess and shotgun king vids Intern posted. Cade is amazing, but I really wanted to see Blitz go against Intern in fps chess. Seeing that you posted this vid made my day! the gun the Bishop has is the Blunderbuss, basically a musket version of a shotgun

This looks like a very good game, but it really annoys me how they didn't add the rule that kings can't go next to eachother
That's the rule. Chess pieces that are next to each other initiate combat when they move in the direction that the enemy piece is at.
@@franzicoy Yes, that's obvious, but in regular chess, the king's cannot move next to each other
@@CuteKyuubi Maybe if a queen or rook attacks an enemy king, the battle will be between both kings instead of the king VS the aggressor.
@@CuteKyuubi It can but the enemy king would take it and win, that is why it’s considered illegal because it holds the same weight as resigning.
