This was my favorite song on Disc 4 of the Time Traveler compilation, and it inspired me so much when I was a kid to always be a dreamer. I'm so thrilled to find it again. ❤️
Aloha from the Island of Maui, SMK! I hope he has come to know That Someone is none other than Jesus Christ! For only He can Love us like that, for He is Love!
Wow! Talk about an incredible song! This was a little hard to find. I made up my mind to collect everything the Moody Blues had ever done (including all of Justin’s solo projects). Highway turned up on Time Traveler, Timeless Flight (both the 4 and 17 disc sets) and as a bonus track on Keys of the Kingdom from the 8 disc set The Polydor Years. Love the Moodies!! 💙💙
One of my very favorite of Justin's songs. Especially that little verse he fit in about "You touched the dream...". Very poetic and gets the attention, for sure. He's so good at doing that.
Aloha from the Island of Maui, SMK! Only Jesus can fulfill the longing in our hearts that Justin sings so wonderfully about! Can you "see" Him in many of the Moody Blues music? I hope and pray that all of us can "see" Him like I do!
For Denny, Clint, Tony, Ray, Graeme and Mike: it wasn't the end of your highways...only crossing the one-way border into a new country with new highways to travel. Godspeed, all.
I thought you were excluding Justin and John because they werent the originals but i just realised.. all 5 originals are dead. I dont like the first album. I agree with Graeme that Days of future past was the true beginning. Mike named the the moody blues because they were to be the in house band for a brewery with those initials. Back when they just played r and b covers. They really set their sights low. And they surpassed their own expectations. Very underappreciated now, but even i had forgotten where it began. Never again.
I've always loved the Moodies' music. From literally my own cradle and on. Always. I even grew up with 'em...grew older with 'em. They played "December Snow" on the moment I turned 39, Seattle. I am once again single...with no intention or desire to remarry. I walk my days alone from here on. But never truly alone...nobody is ever truly alone. This is my lot, thanks to autism. But I know which company to keep...and how to keep them. Nothing surpasses good friends. Nothing. Even if only a handful.
@@cethereas I'll be okay. I'm a free person again; I have friends...not many, but quality has always beaten quantity. I have plans...just hope I have time in which to realize them. Thank you!
Aloha from the Island of Maui, SMK! My hope and prayer for Justin and all who "hear" many of the songs sung by the Moody Blues, can "see" that Jesus is the fulfillment of the hope that lies beneath their wonderful music!
God bless you brother. My dad found me playing these old vinyls and came in the room singing 😅 he told me he loved these guys so much growing up. He taught me about Christ as well.❤
The christian influences are undertsated, but true fans can tell. One step into the light, You and Me, Isnt life strange, when Youre a free man, and The voice, all speak, in particular against an ignoble an unchristian world. Something more, heaven on earth.
I love that response, I've written comments like that in some other beautiful music that came from the 1st generation Baby Boomer's who felt the moving of the Aloha Spirit of the Sun of Righteousness as the Flower children started blooming! Now the harvest! Hale-lujah!
And I feel I need them every day. Yet another Justin Hayward classic. We have an old vhs video of them performing at Red Rocks, Colorado in 1990. Justin looked as though he had just left the hairdressers and my wife thought he looked like an angel In his white dinner suit shirt. I said his voice sounds like an angel too.
Just beautiful from Justin... He is just an artist and poet.. I love him singing, he is just lovely!!!! 💙💙💙💙.....

They're an inspiration to many ❤️

First time listening to it. Superb song !
Justin has the knack for touching my mind and my soul.
Just wonder if he know how important he is to people?
I don't think he does and I believe that makes it all the better
A beautiful song, brilliantly sung with harmonies.....fitting of Justin's musical skills. Thank you Justin. 03_24

That's what I love about the Moody Blues in the first place

I love the pipes!!
The backing vocals of Ray Thomas are fantastic ! Unique !
That deep baritone!
I enjoyed John's amazing highs, too!
What a glorious song!
Very sad that this song was not on the Keys of the Kingdom CD. It has what it takes to be a hit

Beautiful song first time I have heard it.
It's great. So glad that Bought the three track CD single 'Say it with love'; otherwise I'd never have heard it.
I love the Moody Blues! I needed this one today!

Taken from the cd " Time Traveler"
Can't even explain what this song means to me
Nothing is serious to me
I live for what will be
A poet laureate.
Bagpipes...
Very english, not bristish specifically but it moved me to hear
