I agree. I'm 67 years old, so for me anything that lessons fatigue - especially in the back, is important. Keeping my back straighter allows the spine to carry the load with less muscle involvement, and less strain. Also, an upright stance in the legs, which for me also means less forward/aft shuffling, allows the bones of my legs to carry more weight Vs. leg muscles. By reducing the separation between my front and back foot, I can reduce the time needed to transition from one turn to the other as well. This upright stance is made easier by also using longer poles. Since we mostly use adjustable poles, experimenting with lengthening them has helped me a lot.
Great input. I have to agree about the short foot platform. It really helps. The ability to create movement and dynamic balance is the key in moguls. This is the way to eliminate most fatigue.
My husband loves your videos, he wants to learn telemark and be your friend🤗 his ancestors are French Canadian. Keep up the great work!
Slow down in the bumps? I didn't know that was a thing.

I always skiied moguls. I went low. I was never sore. I would stop once in awhile to plan my next route.
Finally a video that can help me learn to ski!
You look good on the sticks mate
“...use extension to release some pressure off.”
Release pressure off “what”?
Off the ski edges?
Yes exactly. And it will help pivot from one direction to the other, making quicker turning possible in moguls
