Bryan. You have no idea how important and valuable it is that you're a supportive husband. It's such an amazing lesson for your future kids too. My dad wasn't supportive of my mom overall and it was not good.

This title should be “long distance MARRIAGE” because there’s a major difference between DATING long distance and being MARRIED and doing long distance.
Just don’t stay too long away from each other. There are people who will take your place....that’s life so please don’t fool yourselves! I love you two so I’m coming from a good place. Marriage is about building deep connections and moments and that is not the same when physicality is not part of it and yes every little bit of conversation draws you both closer but please, please don’t ever get use to being away an independent spirit could hurt the relationship. Again, not being negative just want you two to make it so keep your eventual goal in sight and keep on keeping on! Love to you both👍🏾

Never had watched the shows in the bachelor franchise but during quarantine I binge watched season 13 on Tubi Loved your journey of love and this healthcast.

we got very little about Brian's character in the bachelorette season (it's not their fault of course, just the format of the show). i am happy to see he is a hard working, self-assured individual who respects and supports his wife even when it means they have to sacrifice some time. i knew rachel is amazing and this further solidified it
I have loved this couple from day one. I was rooting for her to choose him. They deserve to be with each other. They both are smart and ambitious. They know what they want. I can't wait to see those BEAUTIFUL babies they will have when they're ready. Love YALL!

Bryan is so genuine, nice and understanding. I did not watch their bachelor season until now. I am so happy for them. I wish them happiness, peace, and an abundance of love. Definitely, out of sight out of mind. But, I pray they keep God first and stay in prayer with each other. He loves her so much. My heart goes out to Bryan. Everybody has an agenda looking for their 30 minutes of fame. Rachel didn’t come across as if she was looking for fame or working on a tv career. She sounds like she’s trying to justify her decision to live in L.A. She’s right she owes no one an explanation. Women complain about men who are not supportive, commitment phobic, or emotionally unavailable. Rachel found that guy. My heart is sad for Bryan. However, I wish them all the best. Don’t stay apart too long. A good man is hard to find.
Thank you for sharing! I have always loved you two together. So I am always rooting for the both of you. Don't let anyone tell you that a long distance relationship can't be sustainable. People in the military have long distance relationships all the time. My brother was activated for at least a year in Afghanistan and a year later he was sent to Iraq for a year. He was married with kids. My sister's husband was deployed three different times for close to a year each time if not a year. Twice in Iraq and once in Afghanistan. Two of his children were born while he was away from home. He retired from the military, eventually. They have just celebrated their 23 years of marriage. So distance doesn't necessarily have to be the death of a relationship, especially in today's time with all this technology available. Back in the day we only had letters and telephone calls. God Bless you. With God in your marriage you will persevere and nothing will keep you apart indefinitely. 😍

My husband and I have lived separately on 2 occasions one time for eight months and another time for 6 months due career advancement, it's necessary sometimes. When you are married you have to do what is best for the future of your family and marriage

Can I just say, what a mature couple! What works for one may not work for the other. Communication is key. Coming together intimately keeps the home fires burning. I wish these two the best, truly. But I couldn’t marry someone just to be long distance. Making sure that you both take your space is important for sure and something all relationships should prioritize. Also, yes, careers are important and sharing your day(s) with each other is important but there wasn’t much talk about how they keep the romance alive. That’s more important than your careers (or, at least to me). This feels more like a business partnership than a marriage. But anyways just my personal opinion. When I googled best season of bachelorette and season 13 came up as the top I watched and now I am here! I am truly glad quarantine got me invested cause now I'm into all things Rachel and Bryan! I saw you pop up on Rachel's cam when filming ghosted and I was like oh Rachel is married and her husband is fine! Btw lol, But to see yall journey I'm glad I gave your season a chance.
I loved seeing a real converstion about this and the focus on the big picture. My boyfriend and I have been together for 10 years and in that time we have completed our education and began careers. We were in different cities at times but knew we would be near/together once certain things were accomplished

Bachelor Nation fans have very specific expectations for the stars of this show, from the "image" they expect the women to have and portray, to what the couples should be doing after the last rose is given. It's like the fans still expect "Trista and Ryan" from every seaon. The show's cast has evolved (I mean face it, things shifted once millenials entered the show) but the audience hasn't. I LOVE that Rachel and Bryan are doing things on their own terms and not defining their relationship based on the expectations of the fans or anti-fans. But I'm not surprised. Bryan is Gen X (Gen X is a special generation), and we knew from the first moment we met Rachel in Nick's season, that she was level-headed. At first, I was like "don't explain yourselves!!!" But now I feel sharing this will help people explore all the different ways people are defining their relationships and marriages FOR THEMSELVES and not others. We need to see and hear more about all the different ways people are making their marriages work through special circumstances so we can break the traditionalist mindset (which I have to admit, can be a bit oppressive).

There are people that are seperated because of work for years time and they work it out. What about people that get employed in another country for war, or medical service, diplomatic duties? This is not something from this generation; it is completely normal. It more so of this generation to question every little challenge in a relationship as people are more focused on a facade of a relationship rather than real-life matters.
I too watched your season and Rachel could not have been happier for you, glad you have a timeline for being apart and are able communicate daily but don’t make it too long follow you career but most importantly build your marriage. Love you both

Love this, and I can relate so much being in the military! My last serious relationship was that much harder because i wasn’t willing to make sacrifices in my career and there wasn’t a point for us to come back together again after moving overseas. Now years later, definitely feeling more satisfied with where I am at and willing to compromise more and hopefully continue to grow with another person :) Thank you for sharing your experience!
