I watched the teleserye Can't Buy Me Love from beginning till end and I really loved the character portrayed by Maria Rascal. Now ko lang narinig sya narinig na na- interview. She's very good sa mga sagot nya. She has matured a lot. And even in her personal relationship, she humbled herself na nasa kanya ang pagkukulang dahil she wanted to explore the world of opportunities more. Which is but normal dahil bata pa siya. Though they both really love each other but Rico gave way because he is a very understanding partner. Walang 3rd party involved. Kung sila pa rin in the end, love for them will conquer all. I think Rico was Maris' teenage fantasy or even earlier since she started to really idolize and admire him so young. But with change, after living in her fantasy she finally outgrew it and thought more of what she actually wants for herself other than that dream that she's already experienced be turned to reality. She realized and woke up.

Pero as time goes by, sabi nga ni Maris, she's going through changes. I think naooverwhelm siya sa ganda ng career niya ngayon. And I think Rico wanted to settle down na but I guess Maris rejected him dahil papaganda na ang career niya na matagal na niyang hinihintay. Sabi nga niya, she turned to the next page and saw a new perspective in life. Kung maikakasal siya kay Rico, baka mawala sa kanya ang peak ng career niya. Maris is def going thru' a major quarter-life crisis.. I myself had been through it lately. Even Rico is a mature man and can sympathize with her, I think she needs her time alone now on how to manage her own life, her own choices, what she will be in the future and on being an independent woman.

Based on her answer, i think she wants to move forward with her career, try new roles as an artist, etc. But on the other side, rico at his age whos deeply inlove w/ maris is thinking to settle down.
