If I was an adult in the 1991-1992 period (I was just in the third grade at the time) I would have spent many days and nights listening to this song at my home or in the car with my lady by side. Man, R&B love songs in the New Jack Swing era were something else.

I read his book All True Man (published in 2017) and he was super successful in getting women (which included many morning after's) way before he got famous in '85. *The man was a paid (by women) gigolo, running the streets, and a linebacker in high school and college (Alcorn State) before he even signed his first contract at Tabu Records in '84.*
