Dishes and even the laundry can be done with an infinite supply of almost instant hot water whenever and wherever, simultaneously from every fixture.
    FEATURES:
Superior recirculation loop performance - ensuring nearly instant supply of hot water
    Microprocessor controlled self-modulating operation from 15,000-60,000 Btu/h
Precise temperature control from 95-130°F with on demand control center
    • Two built-in Freeze Protection features:
    - Powered (both gas and electric supply required)*
    - Non-powered mechanical valve**
    Unmatched installation flexibility
    - Small vent cap only to maximize RV skin surface area
    - Optional access panels
    - 90° Vent kit to install the unit lengthwise
*Active (powered): unit recognizes incoming water temperature at 40° F, turns on and cycles to keep water above 40° F.
**Passive (non-powered): thermally sensitive freeze protection valve opens at 34° F, draining water from the system
PLEASE NOTE: This unit is for OEMs. The Nautilus RL requires specific plumbing for the recirculation loop. If your unit is not already equipped with recirculation plumbing, please check out Suburban's Nautilus On Demand Water Heater for standard tank replacements: www.airxcel.com/suburban/prod...

It is very simple to make your own Recirculation Loop there is all kinds of diagrams and parts lists on the internet to achieve a Recirculation Loop for the suburban hot water on demand or any on demand hot water product. I don't know why these companies make their products OEM. I like a dedicated external recirculation loop anyway it opens you up to all possibilities if needed.

Due to a water leak in the tank, I've just replaced my Suburban SW6DEA with a new Suburban Nautilus on-demand hot water system .. and what a fucking waste of time that was.
The new system uses 6x the amount of gas the old one did, takes far longer to appear at the tap and wastes a huge amount of water in the process. Now I see a video of 'newer' version of Nautilus with a 're-circulation' feature. They didn't realize this when they build the first load of crap!!
I can see myself ripping this piece of rubbish out very shortly and going back to a tank system (gas AND electric) in the very near future.
Most likely will use the Swift system with stainless steel tank and NO anode .. at half the fucking price!!

I am also interested in purchasing the IW60RL. Can you identify a retailer? I would likely replace the IW60 I installed in my campervan. The existing water heater is fantastic but the recirculating feature would really help reduce our water use.

The IW60 RL is available to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) due to the additional plumbing required to make the recirculating loop.

We are full-timers and need to take our rig into the shop for repairs; this will require that we winterize our IW60. I have read through the manual. Does an in-depth step-by-step video exist to help walk me through the steps? Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, a video of that process doesn't exist at this time. We recommend you ask your repair shop to winterize your water heater for you. Thanks!

Hello and thank you for your question! Yes, the Suburban Advantage Tankless, Continuous Water Heater is sized to replace any 6, 10, 12 or 16 Gallon Tank models or any 6 or 10 gallon competitive aluminum tank model. So it will definitely fit!
