    Great timing for your unboxing and test of this power supply. After checking out the link you posted the other day, I hadn't purchased yet but will now. Good demo, thanks.

    Update: I had this power supply on my Amazon list after watching your video. I got an alert that it was on sale, so I bought it. I have been very pleased with it so far. I bought it because I've purchased several 1/24 cars, and the stock Policar power supply just didn't have enough juice for those cars. Plus it is nice to adjust for the different 1/32 cars as well. Thanks for this video Steve, much appreciated!

      Awesome nothing better than a sale!! Ours is doing great we always been changing voltage setting for all the cars we run and now the 1/24 cars too. Glad to help ya. Thanks very much!

    Thank you for showing this and posting the link! My Policar layout is really small, so I will probably never need it, but I did save it to my wish list, just in case!

    This is a good video! You described a few things that I haven't seen discussed before on RUclips. I put it in my cart just now! Thanks!🏁

    When I play with my cars just the basic power. But all that extra amps good for the size of your track.

      Yeah for a big track and for somebody who really races it's always best to get a better supply. hanks for watching.

    Great demonstration. I’m liking that new power supply. Might have to pick one up. I haven’t run any Scaley’s yet. How do they compare to Carrera?

    • @BSslotcars
      @BSslotcars  11 месяцев назад +2

      It worked great! the scalextric cars are way faster I run them only on 12V the carreras are much slower you have to run more voltage to them. I like the scalextric cars they are more responsive.

    The old power supply will have a big mains-transformer in it with corresponding circuitry, which will account for the weight. The new power supply probably uses switch-mode technology which uses a smaller transformer operating at a much higher frequency.

      Yeah it definitly has something diferent in it, it's so light! Thanks

    Awesome buddy ! What layout size is yours again ? I want to copy it do you have all the track sizes written down or copied somewhere lol ? I bought the small four lane set but I'm sure I'll need to get more .

      Hi I can send you the list and diagram of my track if you want, I already did this for another person. the table is 16x4ft but by the one curve dead mans cuve by the big loop you need to go around the table around the little turn and extend it out to fit that turn on the table basicaly the extra width of a boarder you ad on to the turn. Did you try making your own desighn it could be fun that's how I came up with mine it's nice when you creat your track yourself. If you want the list contact me. Thanks

      These are awesome! great for when you run different types of slot cars so you can adjust what voltage you need for each one.
