One mod I feel that is potentially underrated or forgotten is the Census - Town NPC Checklist mod It good because it tells you which NPCs you don't have and how to get them, even some modded NPCs, like Calamitas "defeat the boss for the npc to move in"
The boss check list you maybe can do in vanilla. You put some boss drop in a empty chest. If you don't have any drop to put or you use all drops , defeat the boss again. Modern problems needs modern solutions😎😉😉
Try playing more than one major content mode at the same time(like calamity plus fargosouls and its dlc)and you will quickly relise lack of recipe browser is suffering.
Magic storage is easily first, followed by I guess mutant or OE, then boss checklist bc 1.4 boss checklist is kinda useless since it doesn’t count attempts, and hero’s mod is just journey mode and cheat sheet combined more or less.
Fargo's is a content mod, it has QoL on the side I have boss checklist but I barely use it. Heros mod is fun, I can mess around in more ways than with cheatsheet Magic storage is easily number one.
I use all of those + recipe browser and alchemist noc in all my tmod playthroughs. Only use hero’s mod when something’s busted and we can’t get an item or smthn tho.

I probably should start playing with Magic Storage, for Recipe Browser I just visit the wiki so it doesn't do much and for Ore Excavator I could just mine the ore, it only takes a few dozen more seconds to mine all of it but I can see Magic Storage being really useful And none of the comments are talking about Auto Trash, Auto Trash is a lifesaver

Dude Luiafk is 1st place ez, skips a lot of grind, allows to have infinite potions and ammunition, auto house, bridge hellevator and much more
Heros mod should be first, its straight up creative mode and can let you get anything from any of the other mods too
