Nope. Only one person on a forum stated it may have a percentage advantage. Traps over troops or tropps over traps. But nothing concrete. Or easy to figure out.

Traps only work when there's ants defending the nest

Traps are trash they serve no purpose. But they will add small amounts of cp once complete. Wish the devs would give them a greater purpose.

Or if they have an unseen purpose in battle calculations, show it in the reports
