    The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon, Christian school in South Florida, recently presented a concert version of "Disney's The Lion King" sung by its elementary and middle school junior conservatory students. Starring TKA eighth graders Olivia Henley (Rafiki) and Casey Butler (Simba, formerly of Broadway's "Finding Neverland"), this performance showcased TKA’s youngest talent and was one of the first musicals staged at the school’s newly opened Page Family Center for Performing Arts, a state-of-the-art, 800-seat theatre, at its West Palm Beach campus.
    TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, an American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Miss Riselle Portuondo (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Miss Mikah Adams (Popular Music, Elementary Choir), Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano), and Mr. Gene George (Elementary Music Theory and Band).
