I am 59 and a die hard Rush Sabbath Zeppelin among others fan since the 70s Tool is on their own level

Been a tool fan since 1993. I enjoy watching these reactions for 2 reasons:
1- i will never get to hear these first time again
2- i make a game of it. It watch the reactors eyes, fingers, expressions, and head bobs and guess what instrument they are listening tool.
    Welcome. Spiral out.

This band is a savior in what is usually a big pool of musical nothing. Outside of a few good ones that is. Genius. It's like metal that you have to focus more on, like classical.

The general meaning of the song is about hypocrisy. "The pot" calling the kettle black.

Tool's music demands you change the way you listen to music. As soon as you let go of trying to keep up with individual rhythms and time signatures you will 'see the light', just let all that go and let the music flow over you, you'll naturally connect to the 'root'. Keep it up man, I enjoy your reactions!

Yeah, I take that "low energy" as the atmospheree and (drop D) tone they create. Then with the instruments each doing their own thing, sometimes in a different count adds to the ecclectic sound. Looking forward to the next one. "Eulogy?"

BRO, I'm finding that more and more your Channel pops up, you're developing a solid repertoire of musical talent.
Just a reminder and a request, Mark Knopler of Dire Straits fame, has many musical masterpieces in his catalogue, one of which is "Telegraph Road", Live at Alchemy.
My bet is you'll enjoy especially Mark's guitar playing, as he plays quite unconventional for a "rock" musician.
    THANK YOU!

Now react to The Grudge. I think it’s their best song. Super deep lyrics and crazy vocals and instrumentals as well.

I hope you listened in stereo and it was only mono for the video export. Tool albums don't usually fold to mono very well unfortunately.

Try Weird Fishes/Arpeggi live from the basement by Radiohead it's pretty insane.

The lyrics are loaded with English idioms, you kinda have to research them to understand
