Excellent video! Was looking at using this in a project using lava bases and needed to know what to expect with Vallejo's crackle medium and this did just the trick. Love the reactivation tip with water as well!

Great video, I will have to think of some applications. Is it possible to create a crackle texture with the crackle medium? I mean, mixing sand and this medium
Black Lava texture paint should do the trick. ☺️

How much should I thin the medium by? I don't want to damage my air brush
Mediums generally thin 1:1 bro. Similar to varnishes. ☺️

Tricky as you will reactivate it with a wet brush. ☺️

Just a note, don't use your nice brushes for the mask. It will ruin them. I found the silicone pottery tools work a treat!!
Oh yes, I have those. But this is an old brush bro. Will never use my good brushes on applying the Liquid Mask. ☺️

What a terrible product, very hard to use and the directions given by the manufacturer are useless.
I have to agree. It took me so many trials to get results. 😬
I don't even think you can use it without an airbrush. I tried several times with a normal; brush and the results were just terrible.

Video starts "fill airbrush". Ye, right everyone has an airbrush, an extractor, mask and the space for it all. Another wasted video. Will I ever find one that illustrates crackle medium with a brush.
