@@MissJustice223 that still doesn’t answer the question though. Is he homeless? Why is he not in an apartment or house? Also, every action has consequences. Like you said, the city is dangerous. @@sannya6390 Sleeping in the vehicle with a firearm isn't new. Many carry, go out into the night, and dose off in their vehicle because it's their vehicle, and they're tired. It's also not uncommon that a person doses off unexpectantly, then is spooked when someone comes up on them unknowingly. He had a rifle. Cops drawing their firearms is one thing, but he wouldn't have got that rifle up in time to anything if he wanted to. Cop already had the upperhand. He was close up on him. Give the warning with weapon ready. Yet, none of that happened. Hell, the second officer even asked "Who called this in", in a certain tone that is.
@@sheilasmith6257 I never said that it was a crime but it is not out of the realm of possibility that he was up to no good. For the dummies who don't own, never owned, or plan to own, sleeping in your vehicle with your firearm isn't illegal. Not in states that have laws to carry as such, and I believe VA is one of those states that don't have strict gun laws. Anyway, Karen called because she heard "banging". Ok 😒. The way she's describing it, he more than likely was mimicking some type of music beat with his hands. This is common amongst boy teens, especially Black male teens, but that's besides the more relevant points. Cops obviously knew they were asleep. I mean, it's simple to see, being all the time passed while they were present. Hell, the time passed when the first cop arrived, and went up to the car. Even if dude wanted to do anything, he didn't have an advantage at all. You're not stepping out a vehicle being awaken from a deep sleep, with good control of a rifle, aiming and shooting at someone effectively, with the person right near your door waiting with a weapon in hand themself. A damn 13 year "Veteran" cop. He ran with his back turned. RAN WITH HIS BACK TURNED!!! If that dude wanted to light him up, he would have. Matter of fact, I don't think he had complete control of the AR because it seems as though he dropped it while exiting. No sirens, no announcing, no nothing. Just make a move that you know is unexpecting to the person, and likely spook anyone who asleep in their vehicle at 5am. Plus, the caller stated she saw a long gun, etc, yet he still goes up to it for what...a 3rd time, and knock on window without prior alertness. Come on man!

If you don't want to be taken as a potentially lethally threatening subject, don't have a weapon in your hand. If you can't handle a rifle without being seen as a threatening subject, but you insist upon carrying a weapon, there are a wide range of pistols that can easily be holstered and safely carried in a nonthreatening way. Why would you shoot when he wasnt shooting, aiming at you. They took off as soon as they "saw" the gun and went into panic mode. I don't know what he was doing out there--the girl should be able to provide more insight on that--- but this did not have to end this way. Issuing commands and shooting at the same time is pointless.
Well did the 911 call get it wrong?? No. They stated the obvious😂. Even the gf was high as hell off drugs ain’t even know what happened. He clearly went and reached for that gun on video so what are we really mad about?
Where did it say they was high???? We couldn’t have watched the same video….he didn’t “reach” it almost looked like he repositioned. Y’all say anything tho
The 911 said they heard strange noises… in an apartment complex… 9xs outta 10 the noise wasnt even coming from them because they were sleep
Why was he in a car with a gun at that time in the morning? If he doesn’t live in his car then the likelihood that he was up to no good is extremely high.
because it's his car and his gun and the city is dangerous, he can sleep in his property with his property whenever he likes
@@MissJustice223 that still doesn’t answer the question though. Is he homeless? Why is he not in an apartment or house? Also, every action has consequences. Like you said, the city is dangerous. You can do whatever you want to do but sleeping in your car and brandishing a gun draws attention to yourself and gives people the impression you’re up to no good which leads to situations where the police is called.
@@sannya6390 Sleeping in the vehicle with a firearm isn't new. Many carry, go out into the night, and dose off in their vehicle because it's their vehicle, and they're tired. Now, what's wrong with that? Nothing. They were dosed off asleep, which is obvious being that the officer went to the vehicle for sometime, prior to knocking on window.
Why does why he was sleeping in his car matter??? Is that a crime? How was he up to no good by sleeping in a car with a legal firearm??
@@sheilasmith6257 I never said that it was a crime but it is not out of the realm of possibility that he was up to no good. According to the person who called the police he wasn’t only sleeping in the car. He was lying on top of the car with a gun, banging on the vehicle and then he proceeded to get in the car. If you’re someone seeing that wouldn’t you not be wary?
Make better choices young black men, so this wont happen to you. Rest in peace to the young brotha, such a shame
What did he do wrong?
@@dayvonbennett106 Sleeping in a car with a hot tag is a significant start.
No lights on just flash lights and knock on the door you see he clearly open the door with it you ain’t give him time to pull out the paperwork or nothing all they seen was this big ass gun smh
social talker???? all I heard was BANG BANG BANG BANG...what gives???
All that bang bang bang came from the officers he never fired his weapon
@@dayvonbennett106 yah social talker alright, hahahah
These damn mammies need a better control of their litter
It be shit like THIS!! What did he do wrong? Since u got all the answers
@@BelaBintiBeauty Sleeping in a car with a hot tag is a significant start.
Come on man!
you pull out a gun infront of cop, the cop doesn’t know your intentions. what do you expect?
how was it pulled when they clearly say he was sleeping? so it most likely was on his lap. lets use context clues please. also I doubt he knew it was officer given they didn't announce themselves, he was originally SLEEPING and no lights were on. Also Richmond is open carry
@@MissJustice223 3:05 miss.context clues he is clearly pulling it out.
@@to4a6i lets use common sense and context clues, if you have the first one. if he's sleeping and the big gun is either between his legs or on his lap he would have to move the big gun to get out the car.
@@MissJustice223 So you either crack your window and talk to whoever is there, or slowly set the rifle aside to your left and then slowly open the door and step out unarmed.
Or, last chance, when ordered twice to drop the gun, he could have complied. Narrow time window there, but those are the risks you take when you step out of your car with a weapon drawn.
Out of curiosity, do you have any insight about why he might have been sleeping with a rifle in a car with a mismatched, stolen license plate?
@@don_5283 so from what I remember the police officer opened the door so how would he crack the window? and it looked like he was moving it to the left in the video so im confused. As stated before it's his weapon and we're in a open carry state so it was legal to have in his hands. No, I don't have insight regardless it's his car so he can sleep in it if he chooses. Can i have the link to the plates being mismatched/stolen?
Shouldn’t of had a gun. It’s siimple. Obey the law. He could have put his hands up out the window. I bet news isn’t sharing the whole story.
richmond, va is open carry lmao so he def did obey the law
