NOTE: Doing this dungeon (EARLY GAME getting the Gold Trophy Yharnam, Pthumerian Queen Dungeon glyph: 3aqbyx95 layer 3) allows you to skip the defiled dungeon, including Amygdala. You can however do both dungeons as they don't collide with each other.
NOTE: You need to create your first dungeon with the Pthumeru Chalice dropped by Blood-starved Beast in Old Yharnam to access this glyph. Do levels 1-2 in this dungeon (Pthumeru) otherwise you can't access the glyph in question. Don't forget to pickup the Ritual Blood (1) from the altar in the Ritual Hall in Old Yharnam.

The pthumerian descendant is literal pain and i hate him but overall great vid.

Thank you very much friend, that was the only trophie i needed to get the platinum! Helped me a lot ,in the second layer you can just jump down to the garden and run left, activate the lever and use the hunters mark
Pthumerian Decendant wasnt the hardest boss but he is certainly the MOST annoying to me.. Only ARC build will get you through him easily if you cant timed your parry right.
even if you can party him good with the normal guns, none of them beat augur of ebrietas.
+10 logaruis wheel came in clutch
If you are having trouble on the Pthumerian Descendant, try using the Augur or Ebrietas to parry instead. It will always stagger the boss or knock it over with a lot more consistency than your gun, and sometimes you can even still get the visceral attacks with it. Good luck.
That boss is a nightmare. Wouldn't fight it again even if I got paid to fight it! And we should get paid to play these games. So much work involved.

Anyone having trouble still use the cummm dungeon and get arcane to 99. Then mix physical attacks with distance such as, oil n molotovs, augur, call beyond, executioners gloves etc.
Pthumerian Descendant was definitely the biggest pain in this entire chalice dungeon. Luckily I was able to summon help. I got him down to one last hit and he cornered me. The camera is your worst enemy in that fight, especially during his second phase☠️

@@BillNyeGuy All you need to do is create your first dungeon with the Pthumeru Chalice dropped by Blood-starved Beast in Old Yharnam. You then need to beat the bosses on levels 1 and 2 in that dungeon (Pthumerian Labyrinth), then you're good to go. Let me know how it goes.

I just got the trophy and it felt good! The Pthumerian Descendant was the shittiest part of the run but I got him down after 11 tries 😂

ive been grinding for bastards of loran, ritual blood 4... all of these. I started the defiled chalice and though thats my last one only to find out theres another after that one, with that one already being as hard it is... but finally I can just skip that one and hop to the last. finally!!!

For anyone still struggling with descendant in 2024:
Parry his attack where he delays the first hit (easy to get the timing down after a couple tries), he likes to open with this one
Assuming you're using a faster weapon, go up to him after viceral and attack ONCE
Fire gun as soon as he gets up, you'll very likely get another parry
Repeat this until he gets into phase two and shred him during phase transition
He should now only have about 1/4 of his health left assuming you're properly leveled, should have enough vials to outlast phase 2

To any wondering what Pthumerians are weak to its arcane, I found it out when I just spammed Eglove at the descendent after one to many deaths but now I’ve got the next 2 layers ahead of me

the second boss is even worse that the first one, the camera is horrible and idk why in your game he stayed still when in mine he doesn't stay still like that at any time so when I go to get close he makes attacks with both hands and they hit me doesn't matter if I dodge, I already suffered too much with the first one but now I'm thinking that it is easier to make this trophy normally instead of this dungeon because these are the worst bosses I have seen in all the souls 💀

The throw knife attack is the worst it take half hp when return to the old shit
The parry is so fucking inconsistent. 😂 had him down to fucking no hp and then miss a parry and he hits me with a whole combo 😂

Usually, dungeons are removed from the servers after two weeks of being inactive, but for these glyphs, they're constantly used by players.
