    Ever try pressure washing plastic foundation? As soon as the pressurized water hits the foundation.....away it goes. I came up with the idea for a fixture to hold the foundation securely and not only that, it's easy to load it up. Check out the video and let me know your thoughts. God's peace.

    I'll try this next season. Say Jeff, you once had a video on building a vacuum box (it had a bottom with a slanted floor) and I made one like yours. I noticed you using a similar once recently but it looked like the design had changed. The inner screen looked different. Have you changed the design? I've had some problems with mine related to the screen.

    • @JeffHorchoff
      @JeffHorchoff  2 года назад

      The design and the bee vac are the very same as in the video. However, I now no longer remove the screen to release the bees, I simply remove the screened board and release the bees. I find it much simpler, and the bees do far better. God's peace Darrell.

    Why dont you use beeswax foundations? You could pour them yourselves and the wax foundations could also be used when rolled and wrapped around a candle wick to produce candles? Hello to you over there.

    • @JeffHorchoff
      @JeffHorchoff  2 года назад

      I apply beeswax to the plastic foundation after it is cleaned. I have found the plastic foundation will not blow out when spinning the frames in my extractor Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 450 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. What’s the benefit of power washing you frames?

    • @JeffHorchoff
      @JeffHorchoff  Год назад

      The frames are not pressure washed, it's the plastic foundations that were inside of the frame, and they were covered with junk that needs to be removed.
