Thanks for these overviews. I appreciate the podcasts, but honestly they are a bit more time than I have. This gets me the highlights of those conversations at a nice pace. TODAY IS THE DAY we get to see it!! looking forward to it
Glad you're enjoying them! I hear ya, pre-covid, I could listen to them on my commute and it was great, but now I have a hard time finding time to keep up on very many. Cya after the live stream!
@@thepinballroom hoping Jack Danger doesn't "Jack Up" this stream like he has many others. We aren't going to sit and watch him "Jack around" with his equipment for the first 10 minutes while he makes stupid fart jokes dressed like a clown.
Question, buying pinballs. Are you paying regular price or is a better way to get a nice machine that isn't beat to heck and back? I've looked at auctions, and the offerings are slim and the conditions worse. However at about $10k a pop (assuming premium) I don't understand how people have basements full of machines. Unless they don't care about savings and retirement or perhaps they just make much more than I do.
Excellent question - auctions and the like are hard to find good deals at anymore and usually will be project pins it seems ; buying new is crazy expensive now - I got most of mine when a Stern pro was under $6k and even then the only way I could afford them was because I am an operator so I have other people paying for my hobby 🤷
I'm too the point I have to see it playing.. I don't think I can analyze the pics and sizzle reel anymore .. gotta see it flip and how it all flows together
@@thepinballroom Since 1 or 2 yrs Stern has quietly eliminated Specials and Spooky followed (gotta check JJP to be sure). Not a single pinball channel dared to ask what's up with that. Now you're telling me it looks like if? Ofc I'm talking about Special = replay.
@@Packgammon I hear you, to be fair, it’s one of the several “mystery rewards” which I don’t believe ever have resulted in a replay so even though it’s labeled as “Special” it’s likely not a replay reward 🤷

This is my favorite game. Mainly because of the challenge mode
Great video! This makes us even more anxious to play this game...Can't wait!
Thanks! I'm interested in seeing some game play on Dead Flip's stream tonight, but even more excited to try it myself in a few weeks!

😆😅 yeah, hopefully they'll be all set up and ready to go quickly.
I think this table is under rated.
Is this written down or diagrammed somewhere? This was a lot to digest.
I haven't found it complete anywhere yet, but there are several rule sheets out there that cover most of it all

Please forgive a couple of hiccups in audio..!

How to score a Special?
So, it looks like there actually is a "Special" mystery award that you can get through the "CHILD" rollover lanes, go figure!?!
