Continue to work farming and cooking because each talent point gives you more HP from the first vitality perk. Same with all the combat skills you don't want to use or fishing/crafting. Each point = more hp. Fishing is based on the water, not the biome. You can use a bucket and bring that water home and fish up anything you want by making pools at your base instead of traveling to a hostile area. Set up a purple poison slime farm sooner rather than later and farm heart berries. This is what you need for 40% healing potions as health regeneration for 5 seconds from food just won't cut it after a while. I haven't figured out why people run out of wood though and a lot of videos insist that you will. Just use whatever walls you're mining to fill in gaps on the floor instead of building wood bridges, I guess?
It is actually based on biome...as well. The normal water has different drops depending on the biome it is in (though not every biome has a special list, I believe). The SPECIAL water is fixed regardless of the biome, though.
Yeah the wood thing I never got. I plant like 4 wood seeds and never feel like harvesting them. Just opened the wall in my 1.0 play through and have over 3000 wood in a chest. What are they crafting with the wood?
should mention to never leave base without a repair bench and scrap! i can spend however long i want exploring and can go back whenever i feel like it because i'm always able to repair on the go. it's one of those things you never leave at home, like your wallet or whatever
Absolutely, agree with the above especially when I'm making lines for rails fairly early game or doing mob runs before getting a mob farm setup it does save alot of food drain on running back and forth especially if you get distracted by shiny stuff. Also going through the maze is so much easier underleveled in equipment being able to repair on the go. That being said I did find the second stage bag fairly early so the single space didn't make much difference inventory wise.
I never bothered with that since it would just use up inventory space to carry around, and I would need to empty my bag out by the time something runs low on durability. Though, this is not a bad tip if you hunting specific drops and not filling bag up quickly.
With the dresser you can pop in any set and have it look like that. So id say even if you dont like the stats on a set if you like the look of it craft it anyways. With drills and the big ore deposits you should be swimming in bars anyways
Im loving the game so far, fished up a locked chest then eventually a copper key and got a level 5 musket and good pants when i just started for the most part and i am not worried abour combat at all right now only thing i havent done is start growing food
Is there any guide for beginners? Like what should we be doing. I beat the big slime boss and now idk what I’m supposed to do or what these things I’m collecting are for. I’m just at my “base” crafting ingots and cooking mushrooms
When you place the item that the slime boss drops into his statue at the core, the statue will allow you to craft a scanner that will reveal the next boss location on the map.
However, I would not waste the mats on a scanner for Ghorm, which is the next boss. He’s a GIGANTIC bug that blindly crawls in a circle pattern all the way around the center biomes of the map. You will know when you’re in his area, because you’ll encounter a big open area covered in orange slime. Just wait for him to get to your location or run counter-clockwise to encounter him sooner and hit him as hard as you can each time he passes.
Why do you even have to set up a massive factory farm in this game? That's crazy. I mean, even in a multiplayer squad, you're still only 8 people. I'd hope that in endgame in one of these, I could be self-sufficient with a smaller and simpler setup.
you can? teh bigger teh farms teh quicker you level up but ist not 100% required just make slife easier with buffs you get from food, you can easily fish for similiar buffs and theres soem foods you can buy later that give high buffs but short lived, but teh actualy factory and automation side of this game is pretty cool
Idk if it’s intended but it seems like my crops don’t grow while I’m away, they grow steadily while im in the area… but anytime im away from my base I come back and they’re in the same state I left them in.
In the beginning of this video your health bar was being affected by a weird looking pink thing stoping you from healing fully. How do you get rid of that when it affects your player?
I made mine kind of nearby, but not right around them. Early game, it makes a lot of sense, so you can easily find your base when you’ve ventured far and want to return.
I'm getting tired of waiting for some kind of update on the possible release date. I'm just gonna assume that, once again, us old console players are being ignored or neglected.
It's so so fun and it has fun progression. I went from mining one black at a time to finding a ton sledge hammer and was clearing out 3x2 chunks and ah it's just so fun you never know what you will find to make your journey easier
You have a 75% base chance to get a seed when harvesting a crop. With the first talent maxed out, you'll always get the seeds back.
I wish the game told us our base chance, but it's nice to know it's 100% with that passive maxed.
Game changer
Getting a seed when harvesting a plant is 75% chance base, meaning with the +25% chance from the first skill, it’s 100% return on seeds. 1:04
I'm new to this game but everyone says bring Bridges, I just use the different terrain blocks to get across wherever I need to get across
I have every bar and am boss hunting at the moment. I haven't built a boat I just build with the blocks I mined
I like bridges as it doesn't ruin the look of caverns. I like the suspended look across a chasm, feels more natural to me
@HeWhoShams you get it.
@@somedude077 A fellow bridge lover.
Why ruin those cool textures down at the bottom is what I say. Keep bridging, brudda!
@@HeWhoShams cuz imma noob 😂😂

na if you reinforce ya stuff shoudlnt be that far from base yoru not returning especially such limited inventory space

I always bring Bridges. But haven’t brought a repair bench yet.

When you have outposts and mobs cant still why when you can just put down chests

Just bought it after seeing your video! Hope that it’ll be a good time!
Just bought the game.
Very excited.
Thanks for these tips. Really helps. I've been 'digging' this game on XBOX Game Pass 😅

pop teh drop it gave you in teh core and then click on teh core wil tell you next boss direction

Love this thanks. I would say, thowing your fishing rod into the water whilst fishing might not be the best idea though?😂
Where he got that statue from to craft the other boss finder stones
or do, because it's a great way to learn
In the beginning of this video your health bar was being affected by a weird looking pink thing stoping you from healing fully. How do you get rid of that when it affects your player?
It's poison from purple slime. You can get armor and make potions to cure it. It's reduces how your healing works rather then flat does damage
15:52 me who keeps getting apprentice robes and greaves and witch dr stuff lmaoo i want melee stuff im going for a guts cloud build
Where the straw hat and necklace to get more harvest
over a hundred meals is an understatement XD
How to joy with friends on Nintendo switch please?
I just got my first pet loyal dog, can he die? Can he get exp if he does damage or kill my enemies?
Can't die and yeah gains xp
Do you recommended we make are home base aroudn the boss statutes pillars?
I made mine kind of nearby, but not right around them. Early game, it makes a lot of sense, so you can easily find your base when you’ve ventured far and want to return.

Seem tedious game
Least this is not tedious as terraria.
Not that bad honesty not getting a seed back 100% is annoying tho out of anything I find that the most annoying
