Angel did Angel things and bossed out, but she did not guard my girl the whole game. They tried multiple people and they all started to get in foul trouble and were rotated out. Angel included. Both Aja and Angel are the queens of drawing contact

I can see Angel working with Aja in the off season. AW game is the ideal game game Reese should strive for. As a smaller big, she is a great rebounder and good defender, but the midrange like AW will do her offensive game good. Cant take those hits downlow forever.

I fought many of ppl over Angel's skills "translating" to the W...But, look at her! Doing the same shh she was doing at LSU on a bigger stage and improvedly so. Angel has skills that are not teachable, and not purely athletic. She got it from playing Volleyball. She has a knack of positioning her body underneath the ball, spacing with her body, and knowing what english to put on the ball for the shot she's taking.The best thing she CAN pick up from A'ja is the drop step, and power head fake. A'ja is A'ja for a reason. Angel just needs to be the best Angel

So I watched the whole game no excuses Aja would’ve cooked regardless but the Refs called a foul on Angel 2 minutes into the game so she couldn’t play as aggressive as she usually do. Aja is the best player in the league it’s not close.
Aja so skilled. Angel just a hustler, once they figure out the second chance rebounding scoring method form her she won’t have points. Needs to work on her game
As Cardozo develops a reliable 2 to 7 ft J, things will get precipitously difficult to guard her. Dribble Spin fade a way. Quick dribble stepback J will open up, up and pump fakes. At 6'7", a quick/high release forces defenders to jump out of position. Opening for dribble penetration and dribble side step J.
She does not have ups, but, her natural stature is more of an advantage because with tactics, she can force an athletic defender off the ground as her feet are still firmly planted as she dribble steps into a less contested shot or attacks the rim with the defender in the air.
