Not gonna lie I miss the old test track :( I loved the way that it was before... Can't wait to get on the Test Track 2.0 to experience the difference first hand tho

The ride needed to be more futuristic than a 90's car testing facility. Didn't belong in "future world". Also, both versions are the exact same speed. They didn't change the ride system, or reprogram the ride. The first one might appear faster on this video because the videos aren't exactly synced.

i actually really like 2.0. having been on the original, i know it was louder, less interesting and alot squeekier than 2.0. yes it was faster but that caused it to break down all the time

Both rides are the exact same speed.

no they had to slow the outside part to 45 MPH from 65. it would cause a lot of problems with the supports

The current version of the ride still hits a top speed of 64.9 MPH. Watch both sides, they're almost exactly identical to each other during the outside portion.

I like the new look. Sort of Tron-ish. The old Test Track always looked like a cluttered warehouse to me.

The spin out in the Capability/ABS Breaking test in the first one was so predictable... you saw the tire marks go right through the cones! With the new one, you can barely tell it's going to happen!

I like it its cool imaginative and works well with the Future World feel, you're driving in a virtual test car its cool, and i like the progress city reference thy have in the middle of the show building. The theme ties more together, sure, we lost some of the humor, but id take 2.0 over 1.0 anyway, this ride is very cool.

I really didn't like the new version... the concept is awesome but they could've kept the jerkiness of 1.0. I also can't get past not having the hot and cold anymore =[ I once got stuck in the heat section for over 20 minutes...I also had to walk off of the outside speed track because the ride shut down for more time than they allow

I've watched both of your vids of the New Test Track. I like the new queue, pre-show and post-show - they are much less cluttered and so very interactive. As for the ride itself, I hate to say it, but TT 2.0 seems rather boring compared to the Original - for the most part it just seems that you're driving thru a dark room with some pretty neon lights and listening to the spiel - at least the original had plenty to look at and consider. Seems like the Figment Wreckers have returned.

That may be the point of the auto industry, but it sure didn't seem to be the point of Future World. Nothing futuristic about a cluttered warehouse full of beat up crash test dummies IMHO

Definitely do NOT like the look of the new Test Track. What have they actually given us except some bright, funky Tron-like lighting? Whoopee-woo. And what about for single-riders? Do they HAVE to go through the entire drawn-out process of designing their own vehicle just to ride the ride? Very lazy, uninspired imagineering here.
