We got rid of aging players. We were one of the oldest teams in the league, we had to get younger
The Bills got better, they literally won their division without significant contributions from Diggs. I am not worried, the Bills will still win the division next year.
Bills will not make the playoffs
They did not get better, they are paying most of his salary in dead cap and he’s playing elsewhere and you don’t even get a player back or even a first round pick next year plus you had to give up draft picks 💀
If every team plays below average like last year then yes the Bills have a shot of winning the division
@@playahdub5287WRONG
@@dylonmartinez7946actually they did and people in and around the team know that
Diggs is disruptive. If he isn’t targeted enough, he starts throwing his toys
Maybe he tired of the qb throwing picks and being inconsistent at a passer . Did u ever think about that ?
Less predictable …..ball goes to open guy not make sure Steph gets his targets. Pressure off Allen
Watch the Bills go for Aiyuk. I’d hate to see him go but idk how the Niners extend him. They can use 5th year option this season, then franchise tag the following but trading him to the Bills for the 28th pick this season wouldn’t surprise me.
That would be CRAZY 😳
I’m coming back to this comment at the draft 🤞
I think the Bills hav a 'bad taste' in their mouth, from all the injuries last 2 seasons. They r going the way of KC. Young & cheap, cuz josh is big $$$. 2 wr in the draft. Diggs, Davis, Shakir ... any of them a 1st rounder ??
Aiyuk wants top dollar and the Bills just took $31M in dead cap..... what are you smoking. Bills got the 2nd in 25' to move up the board for a receiver in 24' draft.
@@michaelsongin4007 calm down with the unnecessary stuff. There are many ways to structure contracts, plus Aiyuk is still under contract this season and would be “cheap”. A new contract can kick in next season at whatever he’d be locked in for…I’m guessing 24M+ per season.
I enjoyed watching Jimmy Jackson on the basketball court and I enjoyed just as much watching him behind the microphone great job double J
Their talent got worse, their locker room will be VASTLY improved. Diggs is a cancer to the locker room.
Baloney. That's a media concoction. Stef's teammates love him.
Josh rookie year (12 games):
2K yards - 18 TDs - 14 turnovers
52.8% comp - 67.9 passer rating
Josh 2nd year (16 games):
3k yards - 29 TDs - 13 turnovers
58.8% comp - 85.3 rating
Josh first year with Stefon (16 games):
4.9k yards-46 TDs-16 turnovers
69.2% comp - 107.2 rating yes hes a cancer
Buffalo took $31 Million dead cap to get him out of the building ASAP. The organization had to stroke this man's fragile ego for years and they were done with it.
@@AirMcCants11s diggs time in min = no pro bowls no all pro time in buffalo 4 pro bowles and all pro so you can take your numbers and file it
@@AirMcCants11s if you actually knew anything about the bills or josh allen you would have known about the strides he made as a player going in to his 3rd season. Stefon Diggs is a locker room cancer
The Bills' 2023 baseline - 11-6, AFC East win, playoff win, 3 pt. loss to the SB Champions- was led by players other these guys they cut or traded. That core of emerging players is coming back. And the Bills have 10 draft picks upcoming + a future extra 2nd. I'm not buying the Bills' decline.
It's crazy to think that just 365 days ago, Houston was the consensus pick for worst team in the league, and now they are Super Bowl contenders. What a difference a year makes!
It's simply because the Media never want the Texans to succeed, but instead a reliance on Cowboys winning all of the time. The media have their favourites and refuse to accept anything that doesn't meet their storylines
I don't think Diggs is a 'cancer', but he clearly prefers to be passive aggressive and 'cryptic' in public instead of being direct, and I can see how that would be an exhausting personality to try to accommodate from a leadership perspective.
Diggs being passive aggressive and cryptic is a sign of his continuing lack of maturity. Same attitude in Minnesota but it actually seems to have gotten worse. If Texas starts losing and he isn't getting the ball, he's going to bring that same attitude. He he'll be screaming at Stroud on the sidelines by game 4 in my opinion.
@@70mcnevin Yeah, probably. It's unfortunate, cuz Buffalo fans legitimately loved the guy. If he could have just knocked that stuff off, he could have played in Buf until the end of his career and been like Andre Reed or Eric Moulds with a 'home' fan base that treats him like a legend. Now he's just going to be a 'journeyman' WR.
Instead Buf fans for the most part aren't sad to see him go, they're just frustrated by the compensation.
Antonio Brown is the biggest dive I’ve seen in all my time watching football. Diggs has to be the closest guy to that among current NFL WRs. At least he isn’t live streaming private team speeches after playoff games.
@70mcnevin if that happens, he'll probably be on the bench
The Bills turnaround this year directly correlated to Diggs getting the ball less. Its not 2021 where only 2-3 players could produce like Diggs. We can replace his yards, and I‘m not worried about the leadership component. I think losing Mitch Morse will have a bigger impact
your not replacing him unlike kc did when they got rid of tyreek hill now they have rashee rice which despite what you want to say about his life is a great number one reciever
Pouty players don't win many friends in the locker room. The Texans were successful without Diggs, and I doubt the players want to cater to a guy with an attitude coming in no matter how good he was or might still be. The Texans may get buyer's remorse quick with so many good young receivers trying to grow up in their offense. He's a very expensive, older veteran who showed signs of being on his last legs last season. IMO they were better off without him.
Diggs will get a one-year tryout in Houston. That's all.
What does this say about Diggs? That’s the question. So happy he’s gone.
All these people are hoping and crossing their fingers that Buffalo is finished.....its funny! 😂
Almost as funny as everyone crowning the Bills last 4 years only for them to blow their window😂😂😂
Agreed-lotta casual blowing their proverbial wads right now.
There’s gonna be a lot of silence in December.
Look at how GB turned out vs NJ and that was a much bigger trade.
Bills Mafia will take their chances with the Bills. I mean, hey-everyone is in the same boat sans the Chiefs
@@deemity7557 Bills lost all their LB's and Corners last season and in the playoffs, and you except them to cover Kelce with AJ Klein?! LMAO, the Bills were down to their 5 stringers on D, and still almost won that game, so chill out Buffalo is going to be better this year than last, just because they got younger. Once Millers contract isn't a cap problem, he's gone too. Bills will still be running the East for years, and they will be Playoff contenders for years, so their Superbowl window isn't closed. Jeez I don't know why you guys believe the media's narratives at this point...
Opposite
Everyone is still nut glazing buffalo wishing and hoping they keep mia from winning div
Buffalo managed to crack off a winning streak with a plethora of *significant injuries* last season en route to a close match with KC in which they fell short. Buffalo still has Josh Allen, who has improved year over year ever since entering the NFL. BUF still has a young core of leaders and a strong culture that yields ridiculously high output. Beane dealt Diggs at an opportune time as BUF has to get younger and faster. BUF could trade up and nab a guy in the top 15 and later trade back to acquire some more picks for depth and competition. BUF still has Josh Allen, and the culture McDermott has built in BUF is under appreciated. I believe that with youth and speed at more positions around the team, combined with a more team-friendly group of receivers, etc, will produce an even more effective unit down the stretch. Bills probably finish 11-5 again, and make the playoffs with a strong push as the young guns jel in the last half of the season.
Im not a Bengals or Ravens fan, but
2 things here
# 1 Baltimore had the
# 1 Defense
# 1 O line
# 1 Rushing Offense
# 16 Special Teams
and
A Hall of Fame Head Coach
They are the best “team” in the league, much less the AFC.
Their issue AGAIN was the # 21 Passing Offense and their QBs play in the playoffs.
For the past 6 seasons, the Ravens have averaged the
# 1 Rushing Offense
# 2 Defense
# 5 Special Teams
# 7 O-Line
a
Hall of Fame Head Coach
They are the best “team” in the league.
Their issue, continues to be the fact that they have averaged the # 25 Passing Offense and their QBs play in the playoffs.
# 2 Every season that Cincinnati has had Joe Burrow healthy for a full season, they have made the AFC Championship Game, despite not having a 1st round bye.
They are 3-1 against the Chiefs with Burrow as their QB, and really should be 4-0, if the NFL had not intervened.
They have quietly had one of if not the best off-season.
They are clearly too low in this poll, showing the casual NFL fans recency bias. .
they are that low because they don't trust lamar to ever perform the way he should in the playoffs, and he's done nothing to prove that he's capable of elevating his play when the postseason rolls around, unlike Mahomes, Allen, or *Burrow*
baltimore has given us no reason to believe they are the best team in the afc unless patrick mahomes is injured or leaves kc kansas city is the best team in the afc and the nfl and kc has only gotten better
someone is bitter cause they knows kc is better than anyone else there is no reason the bengals should be undefeated against them patrick mahomes played with a bad ankle and beat the bengals fairly
@@Hannah-xi8yi that was the point of my comment.
As a “team” Baltimore is unquestionably the best team.
If you have a good
Rushing Offense
O line
and
Defense
You will make the playoffs every time. We’ve seen that bare out repeatedly in NFL history, regardless of QB.
The Falcons in ‘04
The Jets in Sanchez first two seasons
The Broncos in ‘11
The Vikings and the Panthers in in ‘15
and on and on and on
Baltimore was unquestionably the best “TEAM” last season
# 1 Rushing Offense
# 1 O line
# 1 Defense
That’s remarkable. But just like the teams mentioned above, they lack a passing offense.
Over the past 6 seasons, the Ravens have averaged the
# 1 Rushing Offense
# 5 Defense
# 5 Special Teams
# 7 O-line
Plus a Hall of Fame Head Coach
But, they’ve averaged the # 25 Passing Offense
That’s why they’ve only won 2 playoff games.
Overall. They are clearly the best “Team” in the NFL. But, whether people like it or not, being the best “Team” means nothing without a “Passing Offense” yet, no one wants to call out Jackson.
Kansas City hasn’t been able to consistently surround Mahomes with the caliber of team Baltimore has surrounded Jackson
with.
Yet
4 Super Bowls/
3 Super Bowl Wins
6 AFC Championships/
4 AFC Championship wins
for Kansas City vs
2 Playoff wins for Baltimore over that same stretch
It’s time for people to start calling out Lamar and his inability to make plays in the passing game, when the game is on the line or the team needs a big play in the playoffs
If Mahomes or Burrow had that same support over a 6 year period, it’s likely 4 to 5 Rings, not 2 playoff wins.
@@averyperkins8842 patrick mahomes doesnt need a great supporting cast to win sbs baltimore has not surrounded lamar with great supporting casts ask the chiefs they got hollywood for a reason now they have a better recievibg you should have beaten the chiefs at their worst when you had the chance again no reason to believe at all the ravens are better than the chiefs they dont win big games
Look Buffalo can still make some noise this year in somewhat would say is a “reset” or “rebuild” year in the same way Green Bay did
They got ton of draft picks this and next year plus are contending in a division where they still have the best QB
Take a snap shot today. Hold your breath. Look again @ OTA. KC did ok without. T. Hill !!! 2 years in a row - Won the Bowl.
Allen's not Mahomes. McDermott isn't Andy Reid. And the Bills just dumped their entire defense minus an expensive, old pass rusher 😂
@@everettjordan93also, Diggs is not Hill
@@everettjordan93the Bills dumped aging or in Tre’s case, injured players (he missed 30 games the past 3 year) their defense will be fine.
@staceylee7957 I agree. They'll be fine. The original comment is acting like they'll be winning a SB anytime soon.
No one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills - - - Chris Berman RIP
YES we DID get better by trading #14...He was whisper 2nd half of the season/post season and THAT ball that him perfectly against KC.... LFGOOOOOO!!!!! GO BILLS!!!! I BILLIEVE!!!!
* -Diggs- Diva
the Bill's went on a run at the end of the yr without diggs and davis
that was a fluke and you know it we all that was a farce
If anything Allen wont feel a big need to throw the ball as he did towards Diggs way, best wr gameday will be featured guessing
Are Bills the Chargers of the AFC east?
Houston still has a lot of picks for this draft I could see them moving back to the first round unloading some of those picks. Honestly if New England didn’t need a qb I could see them trade the #3 pick to Houston for 4 picks in later rounds cause that’s how belichick works
Ummm Belichek aint there
And Houston ain’t getting the 3rd pick. No one in the top 4 is even trading. We know this.
Poor headline. Don’t really address that question at all.
Depends. Was Diggs being a distraction that was hurting the team more than his skill helping the team? Then yes. Some say his performance last season was proof that he was in decline or just not useful anymore. However, when we look at the history of the Bills, the track record is not great.
Specifically *what* history? Plz don’t reference 4 SB losses. THAT’s ANCIENT History!! 30+ Years ancient! The only history that matters is 10 years Pre-McDermott, to the Current McDermott era.
@@coasternut88not even that far young buck. The NFL is a show me now league. Really 2020-now is really the only thing teams & NFL GMs are looking at.
I'll take all the Bills stock everyone keeps selling
Diggs was in decline the back half of regular season and was neutralized in post season. Bills need a true WR 1. If I’m a Bills fan I want Buffalo to trade up to a top 4 pick and draft Marvin Harrison Jr.
Eating that much $$$ the problems behind the scenes must have been bad enough to move on. Additionally, Allen and company stayed strong last season in the win streak with Diggs largely a non-factor. Pick up new talent at draft + look for a trade for free agent if you can = Bills are going to be ok.
Teams need volunteers, not hostages....Diggs' helmet got too small
Ravens? Lamar has to prove he can run with the top dogs in the playoffs! Until now he hasn’t shown it! KC Cincy, Buffalo, Houston! There’s no way Beane is going to roll out this wide receiver crew as it stands today, No way he knows he has a stud QB and will add some weapons via draft or free agency or a trade! He knows samual is not a #1
Also, dont forget Lamar isnt a true passer. He had a nice throw but its mostly his legs that get wins. And Burrow womt have 3 #1 WRs and no Mixon so lets see how good he really is. Also, Burrow is injury prone. Does Bengals no good when he cant play.
Again with the dumb statements. You give up three players and only get one back? The late picks given up are like lottery tickets. You may get someone that contributes but are more likely to get back of the roster or developmental squad players. In the 2nd, you should get a starter. What Buffalo gained was salary cap freedom and a starter for a guy that didn’t show up in the playoffs against top teams (Chiefs and Bengals), check the stats. Buffalo also freed themselves from Diggs’ antics which were distracting.
31 dead cap reasons to fire this GM and coach he got lucky with josh only look how many 2 and 3 picks are gone fire them both
Fire the guys that turned the franchise around? Go cry somewhere else
@@lesliechow7286 you might be slow so I will be nice look at the GM entire draft history look how many 2nd and 3rds are gone I’m looking past the other rounds he’s awful and over spends on old guys from Carolina

The stats say otherwise
Have u seen games where it counted most … last 3 years …
… Diggs was an absolutely bust in the playoffs
Nope. Jets winning the division and buff will be lucky to get a wild card after losing all the players they did this offseason.

Lmao. No. They have cut thier wrists this off season. Bills are done.
How so?
No we didn’t get better , we incurred 30 million more in debt, we got nothing in return that we should of and if Beane don’t trade up to grab Harrison or Nabers then do we really have a real #1 WR? Even if someone does emerge as a #1 WR we going to have same problem as always, only 1 star WR, dumb move I think moving Diggs very dumb
