It is unlikely we will see talent like this again. There is talent such as Bowie, Morrisey etc who will never be seen again and I'm grateful that we are privileged to have witnessed such talent.

Everybody has a right to their own opinions but some of the world's biggest and most respected artists revere David Bowie. Moz after the Smiths became self-absorbed and believed his own hype, and became a symbol of the very thing he hated when he sung about it in the Headmaster Ritual. NOBODY has worked with him since the Smiths. There is a reason for this and he hasn't written any songs for anyone else. He's a fucking wanker, that's why... He's a straight narcissist and he's not even a great one...

That security - I've never seen such a human and gentle approach, just incredible. All the hate Morissey gets and yet there is so much love given.
The band - How tight is that band? There's all kinds of shenanigans going on upstage and yet they don't miss a beat and are just on it.
The cameraman - we all hate down these days on the seas of hands holding their phones in the air at concerts, but without this person we would not have been able to share this unique and beautiful moment of humanity. And what great camera work! Keeps the frame steady and keeps Mozza centre frame, exceptional work my friend!

This video has had the cleanest sound I've heard thus far of Moz performance of this number from the last year. Must have been perfect distance from stage. Closer to Moz you get the less he ignores you apparently.

He is so amazing to his fans. Giving a hug to that man in blue, it's a really simple thing for Morrissey to do but you could see how much it meant to the fan. He was in tears and will remember that moment for the rest of his life.

Morrissey (and Smiths musicianship) but Morrissey in particular, helped me so much growing up. it's as if he had somehow read my deepest thoughts, hopes, dreams and desires, intimate or otherwise, and put it to amazing song.
the inner turmoil I suffered as a teenager realizing I was... not heterosexual in nature, was smoothed out and much less damaging thanks to this man.. it doesn't matter he has a few seemingly "ignorant views".. the man is a genius and amazing songwriter, poet, lyricist, philosopher, and deep thinker.. he's going on 80 years old soon.. it's hard not to become bitter at the shit going on these days.
both the right and left political fronts of both our countries have many wrongs.. but Morrissey isn't "wrong" to have his opinions..
if he doesn't want meat served at his venues, that's fine..it's a small sacrifice to make if you eat meat but want to see him in concert...
.. concerning popular music, which.. beginning in the early 90s, took a VERY FAST and drastic shift to the "norms" that we as the public are still stuck with today.. I'm talking about hip hop and rap. I am NOT a fan.. rap culture is thug bullcrap mostly, very few have positive messages...all materialistic, greedy, jealous. and based on stacks of money. lots of drugs and degrading women as "bitches", and hip hop, occasionally a good song or 2, but.. I UNDERSTAND
Morrissey opinions on popular music.. it's not fair the industry worships rap artists and we all have to suffer when the radio is turned on, it's high time rap and hip hop was dethroned.. not many positives come from rap/hip hop. . people who listen to it mostly act like stupid jerks who all think they're "legends, OGs", etc.. it's gross!
radio needs to be for music that is positive and healing or just wonderful. message or not.. ambient, dance music synthwave (it's great!), and traditional "rock and roll" alternative, etc.. Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order.. Human League,.. this is great music.. not Kanye fucking West or youngboy NBA flashing his stacks of 100 dollar bills to let you know he hates you, thinks he is cooler than you and has lots of money that you will never have..
