My lord, that poor thing almost looks as if it lost it’s jaw! The damage doesn’t look too severe considering it’s only the lower front, hope it gets repaired.
Lol, never thought of it that way! It should get repaired, all of the engines critical components (alternator, prime mover, dynamic brakes, etc) are fine.
However it is unknown what year the Unit was built my guess it was from the Santa Fe however there was Another 2613 but it was Renumbered by BNSF as 2684 sadly 2684 was putted in Storage in Topeka KS
Merch, anyone? okieprint.com/SPR/shop/home
Looks like someone with loose hands dropped their model on the floor! Great video
At 6:25 you can see NS locos, and note, NS takes VERY good care of the locomotives
I love finding old railroad equipment

8:28 is another long lost railroad
The ACES have what I call a get the H**l off of the track. They have the meanest horn hands down

Interesting
@@Southern_Plains_Railfan where I come from The Long island Railroad uses them too
The heat coming from the top of a locomotive is pretty warm, but not unbearable. I was on top of a bridge when one went under me at full throttle.
True, but it’s still always impressive how much heat they put off. I bet that train running wide open was cool to experience.
I have seen a union pacific train with four flat cars with metal hoops on them
Cool!
