Nice video 👌 I live in Louisiana and wondering? The self planters they load them from back to front. plus the tractor back up through the loading. And hand planters one is loaded the opposite . did this type of work many many years ago. Can you show a video of how they harvest in the mud? Thanks
@@jeremybourgeois8551 Yep, I believe this is the first one I ever saw with this piler. I used to go see Godfrey Knight's one a lot. His had the chain piler on it. Matter of fact I actually have a video of his posted on my page too. It's an old video though, shot on a VHS recorder in the mid 90's. And I even have some video of the experimental 2 row chopper La Cane tried..
There's one in Napoleonville that cuts plant cane. Bad management and engineer. Spent stupid money on a whole stalk combine to compete with Cameco at the time. Didn't work because loaders were still needed.
Yes I know exactly the one you're talking about on Hwy 308. Yea I went see both of those experimental harvesters in Thibodaux and Franklin. Too bad they never got them to work properly. I have some old video of them ruclips.net/video/h2SBCaO8APM/видео.html
Tan raro ese alce lo hacen al revez en mejor el tractor ir igual junto a la alzadora para alzar caña y anda es en reversa acá en Colombia lo hacen correctamente y caña lista para cojer y esta es viche
Wow how neat! Never seen it done before! Great video! None grown here in Southern Manitoba, Canada!
Was going to ask why it was leaking hydraulic fluid, but i see ya’ll got it fixed!! Great video!!
Need more sugar cane videos!!
I'm working on making more videos... probably going again this weekend!
Do you ever come down to Thibodaux or Houma to film?
I live in Thibodaux.
Cool my dad used to farm coulon plantation. Where the John deer plant is.. we now have 100 acres in Schriever. That is farmed by another farmer.
Brings back lots of memories seeing all the sugarcane being farmed!!

We built a lot for farmers in the Breaux Bridge and Sunset areas.
I wonder if they're still running. I was sad to see La Cane shut the doors..

They had already cut all the cane at this location. They were moving to another field.
I used to build these loaders and Tiger Harvesters.
Jeremy Bourgeois you don't happen to have any old pictures do you? I used to film La Cane equipment quite a bit years ago.
@@AerialAg sorry I sure don't. That was back in the early '90's.
That's too bad, I love pictures of old wholestalk equipment. Did you see my video with the Tiger harvester I shot earlier this year?
I sure did. Love them. This loader has the tumbler piler. Most of the others had the chain piler.
