- I got the chance to make this video on the Cruze a few days ago. Thanks to my Suzuki salesperson whose boss owns a Hyundai, Chevrolet and Toyota dealerships in Penang.
This car is on sale in Malaysia for RM98,767.60. It's only available in a single trim level, which is the 1.8LT.
@1bentley4ever Are there any on US roads so far?
Nice! Our country (US) just got this and it is available in the 1SV Base, 1LS, 1LT, and 1LTZ trims.

in your opinion alex, is this car under the city,vios,persona segment or is it under the forte,civic,altis,lancer,inspira segment?? ohh, i am talking about the interior space by the way =)
how about maintenance regarding the brake pad, & other things? because i heard it Chevrolet spare part is quite expensive.
I saw one of the models on my neighbor's house, the car actually creates honking sound when unlocking or locking it
I was expecting the American version, and when he opened the door, my heart literally skipped a beat. XD
i just financed this car today, done 50 miles. lovely to drive, very comfy, handles bumps well, 1.8 lt lacking power in my opinion, but my previous car was a v8. also there is no automatic illumination in the cabin when you open the doors, you have to turn the cabin lights on manually to see in the dark when entering or leaving the car, very annoying,... the LZ is much better, but i needed automatic, LZ only comes in manual
what happen if the key dose not removed in the inglicias?
Is it also automatic startup like trailblazer?
how is it compared to a BMW 328i E46? i'm looking my 1st car and currently comparing a second-hand premium cars to new normal cars like this Cruze, Inspira, and Fiesta. Can't afford a Scirocco. sigh.... budget is around +-RM90k only.
@dave11686 Thanks! Always a pleasure to do these videos.
Does the 2010 exist?
@gt5cheats4332 The Buick Regal is the Vauxhall/Opel Insignia. This Cruze is on the same platform as the Vauxhall/Opel Astra if I remember correctly.
@bajukuyup I would say the BMW is more comfortable, definitely drives better and of course you have the BMW badge. But if you want a new car, and better reliability in the sense that you have a new car and nothing can go wrong with a new car (you wouldn't know the full history of a used car), then it's better to get the cars that you have mentioned. If you can go for it, why not a Civic? The new model's coming soon.
It's kindly disappointed that Chevrolet quited from Malaysia since April 2018, and ceased their models... I really love Chevrolet especially this Cruze & Camaro (Bumblebee) but sadly they quited 😢😢.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
It's the worst car I ever brought, it has got tons of mechanical problems which can make your pocket empty easily, I truly disappointed from Chevrolet, I sold it cheaply after 8 months of barely using it, Total waste of money
thanks for the review!
How much is a 2010 cruze
@k3vanoo Yep. Another name would be the Daewoo Lacetti Premiere.
i think i might get one, i drive a vw at the moment and i'm not happy about the build quality, considering how expensive vws tend to be once you start adding equipment.
Doesn't Come With A GPS ?
@1bentley4ever I think they are available now... at least I've been seeing commercials for it all day today lol.
@alexlovesmac
as a matter of fact, they just got them. I have not seen any of these at any CDN dealerships yet...
looks nice
10 kilometers and the battery warning light is flashing?
do one on chevrolet colorado!!! no one has done one yet :/ its kinda depressing going online looking for a review on the colorado
!!!
can it start up by the remote ?
@123dodgecharger Yes, that's true.
Nice
@VINCENZO160793 This is in the Civic/Corolla segment. =)
Why are you driving on the right side
Because we follow the UK.
why are these so cheap? special when used, it only cost about 2k USD, while only being a 6-7 year old car.
+roji All the electric stuff in this car break easily...
Iyi modoka in nziza mu leta zunzwe ubumwe z' Amerika
heavily downgraded from the US version :)
woah bro, the battery warning light is flashing
saabkyle04 review style ??
TheBmwman94 I think
Sadly in our country (USA) Chevy Cruze is dead after their last generation
@alexlovesmac havent seen any in usa yet besides dealers
@alexlovesmac yes
Its like an astra from 2010 lol only difference the menu is blue
It does share the same platform as the Astra J. So it is related. As Opel/Vauxhall was GM-owned at that time, parts sharing between models were common, so Chevrolet had blue backlit gauges and radio display, while Opel/Vauxhall had orange.
alexlovesmac good to know thnx
@alexlovesmac same as singapore
@alexlovesmac hey thanks man
to bad doesent have much horsepower its nice tho
most new cars do that nowadays! i dont know why but i hate it!
An American car
I don't like this cruze model
nabil shakirin why?
After 6 years then someone ask why hahahahahahahahaah
😂
To be honest, it's absolutely shit
small room inside
no torque and speed
But externally looks good
