- Wii menu running on virtual Wii. Unfortunately I couldn't get the Riiconnect Theme working like my old Wii, as it would be bricked immediately when opening a channel. Hope you enjoy! If you have any questions fell free to leave them in the comments, I'll try my best to respond.

Just imagine if they release a Nintendo Wii memorial edition. It will look just like the original launch white Wii which will include HDMI, it will come with every Wii game built in, well not every Wii title; only the most popular Wii games such as Wii sports and sports resort, Mario Zelda etc, all games remastered in 1080p. The Wii menu will look the same but it will be in 1080p as well. It will come with all of the original channels but remastered. Including the weather. It should have RUclips channel and Hulu etc just like Xbox and ps5. So basically just like how hey rereleased the NES and SNES

You have to convert your game roms to wads and then use wad manger with homebrew to download them. If the tutorial doesn't work, I'm pretty sure there is a program called WiiGSC that lets you create forwader short cuts for wiiflow and usb loader. There is a specific way you need to format your games for them to show up on the program though. Make sure the folder of the wii game you want to make a shortcut of is called the official name, plus the disc id at the end. Example, a folder for mario kart wii would be called: "Mario Kart Wii [RME01]". Then inside it would be your game renamed too: "RME01.wbfs".

Wii shop channel never housed full disk games. Only virtual console and wii ware which are maxed at 40 mb I think

This is a tutorial on how to do it. Basically the channels work as a forwader to wii flow (for me) but it might be usb loader for you. Even if you have custom firmware on your wii u, you still have to have custom files for the virtual wii on the wii u. I cant necessarily provide rom links, just know there is a website called mariocube. Join the google group and you can get access to a bunch of wii games in different formats, and even some modded ones too.

This is running on vwii but if it wasn't, it would restart back to the home menu. Basically nothing happens

How did you get all games without disks?
I use some wad forwarder, let me explain.
I download my games on an USB/SD card to store my games.
Then use some app (WiiGSC if I dont missremember) to convert his wbfs gsmes to wad forwarders.
Or, that's at least my method.

@BK2410 it is an application on the wii that allows you to download custom firmware. Using homebrew you can download the application "WiiFlow" to load the roms from your SD Card. Or, if you store your games on a usb hardrive, you can use "USBLoader". They both pretty much do the same thing.
