This is more or less just a song, not a anthem i agree. But dj's can mix it to feel like an anthem in their set. Only reason people freaked about Invasion is because it was already in a "anthem" format, pumpy all the way through.
I love both songs and I'm just excited for 600.

Words like "epic" are are not really units of measure, especially because they mean different things in different periods of trance music. This song, in my opinion, captures the classical AvB with Schulz's deep, dark trance theme. As far as anthems go, this stuff has it; as far as epic, well, you decide!

I don't think this is a bad track, but I definitely think that W&W's Invasion gave off a much more "epic" anthem feeling...
Even 550 Senta by gave off more epic vibes imho.

I think Armin should've done that he put this as ASOT 550 anthem and Invasion as a ASOT600 anthem. This is good anthem but not as good as Invasion. It had so power, it created so much euphoria!
ASOT 550 anthem ( W&W invasion) had a lot more bass to it than this and people are still going crazy with that song, but ASOT 600 anthem is pure trance, not saying that i dnt prefer invasion but that's the whole point of ASOT; Trance.

Frankly speaking, even I didn't liked that much when first Armin dropped it on NYE. But with every single play, it got better and better. The same goes with Brute, and now its one of fav tune. Some say a Gaia could have been better. According to me, Gaias are more precious and Armin is doing the same by not exploiting or overdoing it. Anyways, I'd rather enjoy this tune thoroughly other than thinking and complaining on how it could have been better. I am sure it'll sound massive on dancefloor.

I completely agree. I loved Status Excessu D the most. 450 (asot 450 anthem) by Sebastian Brandt was also awesome. Then after that i would have Expedition coming in 3rd followed by Invasion for 4th. I honestly don't like invasion that much really.

I see a lot of talk on Invasion being the better anthem but I personally would have preferred Shogun's 550. Both tracks are awesome but I prefer the build up from Shogun.
