There's a channel called Talk IBD, and her name is Maggie. She has had a stoma for many years, and she gives a lot of information and tips on how to deal with it. Maybe some of her tips could help you? I don't have a stoma myself, I just really like Maggie! She has been through so many health issues in her life, and her positive way of mmoving through life inspires me.

I feel like a do the same thing about not eating or drinking before or during flights. I have crohns disease so I’m always afraid of emergency bathroom trips. Sometimes even my nerves about potential emergencies cause them.

💙. I want to go to Ireland so bad but when I planned it I got something from a flu shot that caused me to lose my ability to walk. Took me 2yrs to learn to do it again. And it left me with bad neuropathy. Also I did 23 & Me. I thought for sure I’d be mostly Irish. I have red curly hair & blue eyes. Nope. I’m 77% British. The rest is Irish & something else. 💙
@aprildiaz6 I am so sorry to hear your story. I had a gastroscopy in July 2023 and woke up to find I had lost the ability to walk. It has taken a year for me to use a walker, but now I also have neuropathy and gangrene in 2 toes. A big blow as I have traveled to 30+ countries. I pray that you will get to N. Ireland. It is beautiful, especially the Co. Antrim coast. I was born and spent the first 20 years of my life there, before moving to Africa. Wishing you much love and good luck.

I was in Belfast 2 weeks ago for my first time after 3 failed attempts ( long story ) , we took a tour up the Antrim coastal road to the Giants Causeway and stopping off along the way , was fantastic 😊
