The roommate left before he could get caught and my dad hasn't heard from him since.

I have multiple crazy roommate stories but here is my favorite: I baked some cookies at my friend's apartment and brought the extras home for my roommates. I placed them on the top of my mini-fridge and labeled it "take me", and quickly had to get ready for something and I left my hairbrush in our common area. It was still early on in our first semester, and we all left the room doors unlocked but the main suite door locked. I come back to my room to find a bunch of my stuff thrown around in my room, cookies crumbled UNDER MY COVERS, and my hairbrush is dented and thrown against the wall. I confront my roommate about it and she starts screaming at me and looks like she's about to hit me over my "egregious hairbrush and dirty food" being left in the common spaces. I try to escape into another friend's room and she follows me into there too. We had an RA meeting about it and she told my RA that I didn't shower and she dropped out a semester later and now she is in rehab for alcohol/drug addiction.
IDK way past college life but have a roommate and I would say she or he should be respectful of your stuff. We have an agreement that we can use each others stuff if we clean it within 24 hours

Also bc i started my first sem of uni this year (online ofc) i have no stories like these of my own yet, but when my high school dance teacher taught us this elaborate modern arms exercise that involved a lot of arm extensions, head rolls and finger movement she said that in uni she had a scary male roommate who was way older than her and used to throw furniture around and get really angry so she would just do that exercise on her bed to calm down and it actually helped and consequently freaked the guy out so much that when he got violent he would never mess with her bc he thought this little dance major was a witch or something
i also had a freaky knife roommate freshman year!! walked in on move-in day and there she was, sharpening a bunch of knives on her bed because "it relaxed her." really set the tone for the rest of the year.
One time, my roommate dirtied all of the dishes when I was gone for the weekend and when I got home they were all in the sink. So I texted her and asked her to clean them the next time, and she didn’t talk to me for the rest of our lease (6 months). So i turned the wifi off 3 weeks before she moved out hahahahahaha

This particular housemate (let’s call her Shelley) did all the disrespectful things one would think of an annoying roommate: leave dirty dishes and kitchen, leave all the windows open, leave all the lights on, etc. I wasn’t ever close with her, and even before me and my other housemates agreed to sign the lease with Shelley, I had a gut feeling she would be bad news. Well, one night my four housemates and I got together to talk about whether or not we were going to renew our lease together. At that meeting Shelley decided to announce that next year I would not be able to be apart of the house because I sleep talk- Yes, sleep talk! Her argument was that as a nursing major, she knows that sleep is important and that my roommate (let’s call her Kelly) had not been able to sleep for six months because I was such a disruption. The best part of this is Kelly didn’t say a single word in her own defense during this entire meeting, it was just Shelley (also she had her own single room that she manipulated the rest of us into letting her pay the same amount of rent for two shared rooms 🙄) proclaiming I was the one who had to go. My other two housemate were furious at Shelley during this meeting and were trying to motion at her to stop talking, but overall they didn’t really ever verbally come to my defense because they were not good at approaching conflict. I don’t think over ever been more shocked and caught off guard in my life from a conversation. Even though that whole situation definitely sucked I ended up moving out and being invited to live with another set of housemates so I am thankful it worked out. girl you have GUTS i have 2 years of absolutely insane, PTSD-inducing roommates that i don’t think i’ll ever be able to share with the internet lol but long story short i also had a roommate who ruined all my BRAND NEW pans, and then roommates who were so mean to me i moved out after the first semester...
6:17 i legit didn't know this and i love the sound pans make lmaoooo luckily i usually procrastinate on washing dishes a bit but this is possible good info to have
THE KITCHENWARE STUFF GIVES ME ANXIETY. I am an only child and transferring as a junior next year. I hope to GOD my roommates are kind and respectful and don't ruin my nice kitchen stuff.
Ok this was CATHARTIC to me. Currently living with a nightmare roommate who was a friend/I did not think was insane, yet the most RECENT incident occurred over the span of the last 3 days when I made a pizza, half the pizza disappeared, I thought she ate it (rude, but what can I do about it after the fact so I let it go), TWO DAYS LATER, received a text from her asking why I had left my pizza- that she apparently put back in the oven to free up counter space but didn’t care to tell me- in the oven for 2 days and that I was gross for leaving it there.......... literally my pizza is where?? There was also the time she got so drunk she peed in our fridge, but I’m never supposed to talk about that again....oops 🤐
how,,, how did she even get far enough into the fridge to pee in it. also why only move half of the pizza? why not just move the whole thing into the oven?????
Yeah how do u pee in a fridge as a girl damn now I can't get that concept out my mind like hOw? So sorry that happened to you, some people are just as unwanted as that one banana slice on the side walk u slip on like they dp in cartoons
I lived with my parents while going to college because it’s 20 mins away and my older sister was always like “you’re going to miss out on the college experience!” And let me tell you... living with your parents in your early 20s isn’t the best but HOLY SHIT. I am so happy I didn’t live in a dorm/with roommates.
That was my exact reason for staying at home too. 🎉 I would literally rather deal with my family that I know/know how to deal with than a terrible roommate I’m stuck with any day lol
21:07 I have a similar story to that. There used to be this guy in my class in like 2nd grade who would always put his feet under my desk. I always told him to stop but he was really rude like "no" and continued. Anyways every day I was thinking "I hope his feet get hurt so he can't put them under my desk anymore" and suddenly one day he showed up with that particular foot broken👀💀 So my younger self kinda accidentally manifested him into breaking his foot and I felt so guilty for years afterwards because it felt like it was my fault😭
imagine having the strength and confidence to tell your roommate to wash the dishes, this comment brought to you by "let them pile up in the sink until she gets fed up and cleans them herself and have microwave meals and fast food for a week straight" nonconfrontational gang EDIT: YOU HAD A DISHWASHER AND SHE STILL DIDNT WASH THE DISHES good lord
im starting college next year so ill def be having a roomate, and honestly im scared from the amount of roomate horror stories ive watched. Because i'm a really quiet person, and I really cant speak to someone unless they speak to me first so I dont want a roomate to think im rude or smth. And im scared if they do smth thats just gross or smth I wont be confident enough to speak out about it
Nicole: "I have another announcement that nobody asked for, but I think you guys will like a lot." Me out loud in my room by myself: "Merch!" Nicole: "It's not merch." Me: "Dammit"
my roommate was at a party and i broke out in hives out of nowhere so obviously i’m calling her to take me to the ER. she doesn’t answer. i eventually get a ride to the ER and everything ended up being okay UNTIL my ride to the ER texted my roommate saying “hey you need to come home so you can monitor emily and make sure she doesn’t die” and she decided going home with a boy from said party was a better time. so i was unintentionally left alone, all drugged up, and no concept of what happened until the next day. never once have i screamed at someone out of pure rage
I'm in my second year studying fine art, and I had no idea how common drug addictions and alcoholism were. Really shook me up, if I new what the social aspect of university was like I'm not sure I would have gone at all. Living with low functioning stoners really made the hygiene of the flat go to the dogs.
ooh so relatable, living with roomates in college is crazy and you realize as much as laid back you are ab stuff bc you recognize not everyone has the same habits on cleaning or sharing food and shit, the worst is when the other people act like you’re not doing enough when they’re not washing their dishes for days or not getting their tampons in the bin 9/10 times 🤭 and apparently also don’t notice it sitting on the floor next to the bin the next day either.. LOL
My roommates and I have a groupchat and one of them says that she cleans every week when in reality I am the only one who does. Life is hard with problematic and bipolar roommates but I it def makes me appreciate my previous roommates even if we had our differences.
I had a roommate last spring that was my pretty good friend but became super toxic and tried to leave her emotional support animal alone for almost 12 hours in his crate with no food or water. It was an absolute nightmare and honestly the only reason it didn't break me is that my other roommate is also my best friend and she's incredible, but we both went through that and it was a rough beginning of 2020.
I just wanted to say that your videos always help me calm my anxiety and stress. Sometimes just watching RUclips for an extended period of time causes me to build up stress and discomfort due to fast pacing, subject matter, or any number of things. Your videos are the exception and always come as a welcome reset, so thank you :)
havent finished the video yet, but do I HAVE COLLEGE ROOMMATE STORIES... I had a roommate who had a cat that she just decided to neglect... so myself and another roommate were then forced to care for it for an entire year. She had strange older men over constantly, never cleaned up a thing, then decided to start gas lighting me and my roommates about her behavior... Also she loved to leave passive aggressive notes then just aggressive and accusatory notes... :) OOF college is toxic af!!
I had a very similar experience as you did in your second year as an RA and I f e e l your pain. Story time: One of my housemates said I was treating them like a dog because I told them to clean up after themselves several times through text and asked them when are they going to start respecting the house and respecting the fact that there are other people living there, but then they decided that the problem was not with their disgusting habits of letting greasy, wet food and dishes sit in the sink nor all the bags of garbage they left piled in the kitchen, but instead that I have a "communication problem" because I didn't shove a please in every sentence (like you're making me beg for a clean house but you're the one treated like a dog???). I sincerely hope the one that is in psychology is not going into therapy.
I've now finished watching the video because the moment I heard the roommates stories, I just had to empathize, but yes, cannot provide a wild college story because I'm still in college and someone from my floor in first year watches your videos, too.
I agree with your theory. One of my college roommates had a friend like that back then, and she definitely meant it that way. She later went on to threaten my roommate with a knife but then claimed she was simply going to cut cantaloupes and simply used it as a pointer but my friend "misunderstood" (during a heated argument and after months of weird knife hints??). This girl didn't have any cantaloupes then, too! Also, she was really emotionally abusive and just steamrolled passed people's boundaries, but I'll never have to see her in my abode again, so yay! TLDR: some unstable folks like bringing up knife talk to try and intimidate others, especially when they have no proof/logical reasoning to stand on in conflicts
Going through some of your videos in a strange chronological order, I just wanted to say how happy I am that you are currently (I hope so!*) at a much nicer place and you deserve it all, definitely.

Also definitely did not leave a razor blade on the bathroom counter AND a box of hair in her closet after she moved out
@@car.mckenna omfg im glad that never happened, love these made up stories, for legal reasons.
she’s so calm talking about these events😳
I will say it again and again she got me through the semester, she will continue to get me through with her videos!
congrats on graduating!!!
Im sorry i refuse to believe this woman is real because she’s just THAT GORGEOUS 😩
God is a woman🎶
omg girl you thinking these people are bad really sheds a light on the AWFUL people i’ve lived with
I can to the comments to say this too 😭
the one dislike is from the chicken girl
this is literally the most entertaining sit down video i’ve seen in a while
I'm in love with how happy you seem post-college 🥰
i genuinely am much happier
@@NicoleRafiee and I genuinely love that for you ❤️
the fact you stayed sane is a miracle
YOUR HAIR LOOKS AMAZING
girl you have GUTS i have 2 years of absolutely insane, PTSD-inducing roommates that i don’t think i’ll ever be able to share with the internet lol
but long story short i also had a roommate who ruined all my BRAND NEW pans, and then roommates who were so mean to me i moved out after the first semester...
The eye contact during “it has been clenched really hard for 3 years” killed me ☠️
6:17 i legit didn't know this and i love the sound pans make lmaoooo luckily i usually procrastinate on washing dishes a bit but this is possible good info to have
I BEEN WAITIN FOR THIS ONE TURN IT UP
Same tho
THE KITCHENWARE STUFF GIVES ME ANXIETY. I am an only child and transferring as a junior next year. I hope to GOD my roommates are kind and respectful and don't ruin my nice kitchen stuff.
GOOD LUCK. dont live with anyone you know too well, so if its terrible (like my situation) you dont have to lose any friends. im also a transfer lol
PEED??? IN YOUR FRIDGE??? 😭😭😭 I'm so sorry
how,,, how did she even get far enough into the fridge to pee in it. also why only move half of the pizza? why not just move the whole thing into the oven?????
Yeah how do u pee in a fridge as a girl damn now I can't get that concept out my mind like hOw? So sorry that happened to you, some people are just as unwanted as that one banana slice on the side walk u slip on like they dp in cartoons
nicole is a STORYTELLER! if anyone were telling these stories i probably wouldn’t have finished the video BUT nicole is just so amazing
🎉 I would literally rather deal with my family that I know/know how to deal with than a terrible roommate I’m stuck with any day lol
this REALLY defines the college experience. had way too many of similar situations 🥴 happy u gave yourself a break & excited to see new content!
HAHAH OH NO
I’ve never sat through a story time without skipping a few times. However, this time I did. Subscribed.
your hair has never looked this good
omg thank you so much
Best quote of this video "so because he said I love you, she couldn't clean the sink"
imagine having the strength and confidence to tell your roommate to wash the dishes, this comment brought to you by "let them pile up in the sink until she gets fed up and cleans them herself and have microwave meals and fast food for a week straight" nonconfrontational gang
EDIT: YOU HAD A DISHWASHER AND SHE STILL DIDNT WASH THE DISHES good lord
im starting college next year so ill def be having a roomate, and honestly im scared from the amount of roomate horror stories ive watched. Because i'm a really quiet person, and I really cant speak to someone unless they speak to me first so I dont want a roomate to think im rude or smth. And im scared if they do smth thats just gross or smth I wont be confident enough to speak out about it
Hey how’s the roomate thing going ?
watching your videos makes up for the lack of social interaction im currently craving atm
Same! Ireland's back in lockdown and I'm so sick of my family, I need other humans to listen to haha
@@lauradevereux9117 ayyee Irish squad over here, good luck in lockdown 💗
me too
does anyone know her finsta??
Watching this vid makes me feel like we're doing sleepover and I'm sitting just across from you and listening to your story until 3 AM. :')
Nicole: "I have another announcement that nobody asked for, but I think you guys will like a lot."
Me out loud in my room by myself: "Merch!"
Nicole: "It's not merch."
Me: "Dammit"
you were too patient with those girls. i would've made them cry the first month 💀
girl I had to get a campus No Contact order against my insane ex roommate I feel you
“Yeah him and I didn’t have a good relationship and his little toes didn’t make it any better”
nicole uploads = drops everything to watch
Same I left a different video halfway through 😂
my roommate was at a party and i broke out in hives out of nowhere so obviously i’m calling her to take me to the ER. she doesn’t answer. i eventually get a ride to the ER and everything ended up being okay UNTIL my ride to the ER texted my roommate saying “hey you need to come home so you can monitor emily and make sure she doesn’t die” and she decided going home with a boy from said party was a better time. so i was unintentionally left alone, all drugged up, and no concept of what happened until the next day. never once have i screamed at someone out of pure rage
Opens this video: “ahhhhh she’s gorgeous🤭”
"I died but I'm back now"
*Supernatural's weird beginning noise plays*
TWENTY FIVE MINUTES queen really delivered!!!!!!!!
I'm in my second year studying fine art, and I had no idea how common drug addictions and alcoholism were. Really shook me up, if I new what the social aspect of university was like I'm not sure I would have gone at all. Living with low functioning stoners really made the hygiene of the flat go to the dogs.
The fact that I relate SO HARD to your dishes stories!!! You can still see rice imprints in MY POT a year later. The disrespect
Someone wanna tell me why she’s so underrated!!! She deserves millions no cap
ooh so relatable, living with roomates in college is crazy and you realize as much as laid back you are ab stuff bc you recognize not everyone has the same habits on cleaning or sharing food and shit, the worst is when the other people act like you’re not doing enough when they’re not washing their dishes for days or not getting their tampons in the bin 9/10 times 🤭 and apparently also don’t notice it sitting on the floor next to the bin the next day either..
:) OOF college is toxic af!!
i may be graduating high school a year early, lets just say i am looking forward to this. also YOUR LIPSTICK i love it
my serotonin after getting the notification said 📈
I had a very similar experience as you did in your second year as an RA and I f e e l your pain.
I've now finished watching the video because the moment I heard the roommates stories, I just had to empathize, but yes, cannot provide a wild college story because I'm still in college and someone from my floor in first year watches your videos, too.
the moment i saw you posted i felt like a part of my soul finally came back-
I’m going to be a freshman in college next year and having bad roommates is literally my greatest fear
I feel like with the knife bit she wanted to make you feel like “she could hurt me” or something that’s just a weird thing to say
TLDR: some unstable folks like bringing up knife talk to try and intimidate others, especially when they have no proof/logical reasoning to stand on in conflicts
nicole could talk for hours and I’d still listen without gettin bored. q u e e n 👑
bro imma watch this tomorrow , I'm about to go to sleep but ive MISSED YOUUU , HOPE YOU'RE WELL !!! 💗
Going through some of your videos in a strange chronological order, I just wanted to say how happy I am that you are currently (I hope so!*) at a much nicer place and you deserve it all, definitely.
thank you so much ❤️
@@NicoleRafiee And thank you! I just started therapy a few weeks ago and made the decision to move and I wanted to come up with a plan. Like most people I needed resources and your video came up - it’s been a journey ever since. Thanks for being a great momma on the moving video - really kicked in and got me doing all the things I should do for myself. I respect you so much and you’re making a big difference to probably so many people like me 🙇🏼♂️ Again, I thank you.
Ugh, sorry I had to go further than the first comment but I had to get it out of my system - I made the decision to be ‘stress’ and ‘bottle-up true nice feelings’ sober 🤞🏻
Nicole being the most relatable youtuber ever for 25 minutes and 20 seconds
claire dunphy from modern family is seen as a virgo and you really gave me major claire vibes! the way she talks, the voice, and her mannerisms, esp at 1:44 and so on
As a 2nd year uni student in the middle of a pandemic- I find it oddly comforting to hear your most hellish college experiences 🤦🏼♀️ ... having the time of our lives! But you made it 🥳 congrats
ive been in college for literally a semester and hearing your stories is giving me deja vu lmao hate it here. only 3 more years until i can tell my stories 🥴🙄
if it makes you feel any better i have ADD and forget about everyone/thing if i don't see them but this time i actually was like "wait where's nicole i haven't seen her vids in a few days" so that's an accomplishment!
for reference: I've literally never noticed anyone having an uploading schedule except JennaMarbles because she said it every video
CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW STUNNING NICOLE IS ??? girl youve had a glow up and a half, you can see a physical change from a mental improvement, love ya
