I've had three of these. A '95, '96, and '97 LSC. They are wonderful cars. My '95 was by far the quickest of the three. It would do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. The '96 would take 6.3 secs, and the '97 LSC was lethargic at 7.5 seconds. These are wonderful cars and well ahead of their time. The last of the REAR-WHEEL-DRIVE Lincoln coupes. And they will run forever. I put over 300k miles on my '96 before selling it and the guy that bought 4 years ago is still driving it. Unfortunatelyl, my ex-wife wrecked my '97 and my '95 met its demise at the hands (or fender) of a '93 Camaro that pulled out in front of me :( I now drive a '97 T-Bird. Same basic MN12/FN10 platform, but it has a cast iron SOHC 4.6L V-8 that only makes 205hp. It's quick, but by no means Mark VIII quick. Still a nice car, though.
That's good to know. My 95 Ivory MKVIII pulls away from cars like nobody's business. I love when car try to race me of pull up on the either side of me on a wide one way street to beat the light...more often than not...I got em losing
I have a 94. The electric Leather seats. The interior is like being in a fighter jet, great visibility. It must have good factory insulation as it is a really quiet cabin.
@H20MarkVIII I just saw the video of your crashed Mark VIII and thats the one I got parts off of at Cookstown Automotive yesterday! Can you tell me if the ABS and traction control worked, because I want to go back for the ABS pump
The retractor is there in the 93 too. I dunno what he was talking about, the Mark VIII has the roomiest backseat of any coupe I've been in. I wouldn't put 3 people back there, but 2 fit just fine
I had a chance to buy one of these (used) and didn't. I regret it now, but I think I had some practical concerns--winter weather handling, fuel economy, and maybe I was waiting for a later version (i.e., the one with the bigger grille) to come up, which it never did. Too bad for me. :(
Sorry andyass3 I deleted your comment by accident. I'll repost it for now, but if you wanna copy and paste it go ahead and I'll remove this andyass3: awesome! ive been waiting for another review of the mark viii from back in the day for a while now. If you find anymore, please post them. The one thing ive been waiting for is the g rating for turning
The review it's quite useless, as they didn't measure anything themselves. The quality of the cabin is far behind Japanese and European rivals. Car was not comapred to any rival, like Mercedes S420 Coupe. Having said all of that, I just love that line!

Omg this car was sharp back in the day
I had one of these for 10 years, wish I never had to let her go....:o(
I have one of these and given enough road and with the Over Drive off can get to 240 km/h. but a very comfortable car

@MNBluestater I crashed mine a couple months ago and I know exactly what you mean.
