Purely guessing, but I think there's a good chance that the 6010 function is exclusively for the North American market since 6010/6011 isn't very popular on the other side of the Atlantic. As for the useless electrode holder, yes, I too wonder why they added that garbage.

Why does yours not have the option for 6010 and have a different stinger?

Theres 2 variations in eu the 240v or the 240/110v machine i believe they both have differences and im sure the dual can run 6010s
