I was laying on the back seat with my head facing in the direction of the driver's sidez visibility was poor because of the severity of the rain. All of a sudden I see this carjacker cup his hands on the back window looking inside. He was only there for about 2.5 seconds before running to presumably target another car. That final scenario is especially scary. You're in a confined space hoping that glass holds out long enough for someone to save you. You can't run because you can barely see and he can easily catch you. All you can do is wait for him to break the glass and grab at you, and try to fight him through the broken window. I certainly understand the people in Story #1. I live in Northern Arizona, and we have a time of the year known as a monsoon season where we’ll have heavy downpours nearly every day for a few weeks. My husband and I love to sit outside in the back under our large covered porch, because we’re completely protected from the rain and lightning. He was out of state for a few days, and I was outside with the dogs around 0300, and it suddenly occurs to me how eerie it is to be in such a vulnerable position on a lonely dirt road. I had protection inside the house, but I never thought to bring it outside with me. It’s often what you don’t think about that means the difference between enjoying a middle of the night thunderstorm and something much more sinister. I don’t even want to think about seeing someone standing on our property lit up from a bolt of lightning!!

I don't like Thunder I always shiver and shake from the sound 😰
these are honestly the best thing to listen to at night, it actually helps me sleep through the whole night
Heck yeah. Always a good day when someone who really knows how to tell a story uploads
let’s read
As someone who has a fear of thunder, thunderstorms are already a scary story on their own.
These stories are great, and for once the ads are really REALLY well timed
Mr nightmare always comes through with the best stories on RUclips. I can tell he loves what he does. Keep up the good work, been watching for over 3 years.
Music and effects on point in this video. The evolution of this channel since I discovered it in 2015, super commendable. Always a gift when I see a new video, they always get better
Thank you Dad! It's jus so scary nowadays to be anywhere desolate, dark with a storm happening! I'm jus glad no one was hurt!
I know it was the "bad guy" for lack of a better term, but the last guys fater beat the heck out of a man
some people just have the perfect narration voice and mr nightmare is one of them
This would've been awesome to listen to last night when we got slammed by a severe thunderstorm.... especially after the power went out for 6 hours!!
Oh well! Tonight works just as well!
I love it when the creeps actually get what’s coming to them
Love listening to these, thank you Mr. Nightmare for the amazing work you put into these!
I love that he post this while I'm in a thunderstorm. This episode is gonna be great to listen to while I lay down!
Yeah the Dad in the 3rd video was a beast. We need more like him. Never be afraid of anyone as we all bleed the same. I would have done the same thing for my sister/daughter/brother or anyone else in my family.
Thank you for your hard work making videos!! Keep going we love your stories! ❤️
Just wanna appreciate all the hard work you put into these especially since you’ve been posting more often. Thank you Mr. nightmare
Agreed :P
I’m from Florida and live here as well, and we love storms, i love when it storms I love watching them, it’s always perfect time for movies and relaxing especially when you sleep.
I love the horror stories when they fight back! It's so satisfying 😌
This is the only channel I’m genuinely exited when a video goes up.
2:32 that little music queue with what the son said sounds so damn unnerving and creepy
Been watching you for idk how long, keep up the good work my man. Me and my brother used to listen to u all the time when staying the night at each other's houses.
Is it weird that I love how he narrates his stories to the point I fall asleep listening to them
Same. But then I sometimes have weird dreams. 😫
@@brittdei I don’t, for some reason mr nightmare gets me to sleep peacefully like I’m used to his stories and I always sleep peacefully without dreaming
Lol I fall asleep too and then I have to go back and listen the next day. I love it!
His voice is soothing but the context of the video would keep me up all night
The end of the last story was satisfying. Superhero Dad energy, love it! ♥️
I love this man’s dedication for being such a awesome creator over the years. Thanks 😊
Absolutely love this guys work! Keep it up Mr.Nightmare!
That description of the gazebo sounds like heaven
Mr Nightmare's videos never ceases to amaze me and in this video he is bringing the thunder (literally).
Consideringing how good these videos are it may be hard but i would love a long video with a bunch of stories, or maybe just a few long stories like how some other narrators do. The ambience on your videos just outmatches anyones else’s
Been watching for a while and I gotta say, your background for that last story was great! Your getting way good at making them! It's definitely appreciated and really adds to the story!
Been listening to Mr Nightmare since 2014 and have enjoyed every video he uploads. Enjoyed listening to the last story! So Intense! If it's thunderstorming like crazy, I would never drive during one because of fearing for the worst possible scenarios that could happen.
Been watching Mr. Nightmare since 2016, have never been disappointed, his stories always Are perfect 💯
Love your videos. Been watching them for years now, keep them coming! ✊🙏
Been watching you for 7 years and loved it your voice is perfect for the narration of these stories I’ve watched all videos I literally just checked
Great ! I love to hear thunderstorm horror stories in the middle of a thunderstorm ! Amazing timing Mr. Nightmare! lol
the way these are the only stories on youtube that genuinely freak me out- mr. nightmare is THE top G of spooky
Indeed
Mr. Nightmare can even make a sponsorship for earbuds sound like a horror story. 'Awareness mode' gave me the shivers.
I physically jump with excitement when I see you upload, as funny as that sounds I really enjoy sitting back and listening to these stories.
I appreciate you for not putting sound effects that make me jump out of my seat/ pillow like your older videos. These are soooo much better and you have no idea how great the videos you make now are.
me personally, I’m super scared of thunderstorms. the thunder makes me jump and the sudden lightning makes me scared as well 😅
Only when. It's very loud
I'm more scared of the thunder lol I get scared easily, especially when it's sudden
same 😭
Love it when he posts VERY much
8:45 is AWESOME. PlZ keep doing that deep base. That whole story was great though. The whole background was awesome this whole video, the video was great.
the dad in the last story needs an oscar im jealous of them for having such a good father
Can we all appreciate the fact that Mr. Nightmare never disappoints with his content.
@Kurtis bro the fuck
I honestly thought the last story was going to be about a ghost girl in the rain, but that's even more terrifying since they could've did anything to OP without anyone knowing if their father didn't answered that phone call
I personally love thunderstorms, so before I watch this I just wanna say I will be doing all that I can to prevent such events from happening to me
You and Mr. Ballen are my favorite "scary content" channels.
Unit 522 is pretty good too, but not as good as Ballen or Nightmare
@@steveaustin5399 oh I don't think I've heard of that channel. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check them out.
YOOO MR BALLEN APPRECIATION!!
@@WhateverDude38 be careful with this channel ….it can put you in a binge-watch-situation
@@sebastianiancu9570 I don't even watch, I just listen at work. lol
