I want to thank everyone at LinkedIn for sharing our story with their community and seeing the value in what we are trying to do at our sock mill here in Ft. Payne, Ala. I especially want to thank Heesun Wee, Scott Erickson and Tony Cruz for telling our story in such an honest and beautiful way. We are thrilled we were selected as a part of their #WorkinProgress series and we're so proud of this piece! #SmallBusiness #MadeinUSA

Wow,great story.I was born and lived in Fort Payne until I was 9 yrs.old.My teachers name was Mrs.Locklear in third grade at william Ave. middle school. My grandmother worked in the sock mill from the age of 16 till she was 83,it was her life and social life as well.I remember as a child going to the mill and having lunch with her,the machines looked a lot different from what they are now.I think she worked for Cobbles mill and would work 9 or 10 machines at a time.I remember she would bring home the thread cones and we would play with them. Our family moved to Virginia Beach in 1970 where I still live.I do still go back time to time my sister still lives there married to a fireman.I will be buying your socks!!
